Default Karl Mecklenburg back with Broncos in voluntary coach role

I think this will help out a ton with the amount of players we have moving around on the front seven.

Nice... another benefit of having Elway over football operations is he knows old players that have the ability to communicate and coach. The Albino Rhino is back.

I like this. Meck is one of my all time favorite Broncos, and being as versatile as he was is a bonus to any of the current players just having him around. I am really excited for the front 7 this season. I hope they can stay healthy.

Always love when the team uses previous players/coaches.

Something about the tradition. Meck, Anthony Lynn, Kubiak, Burns, Watson, Dennison, etc.

Love it.

Wonder how many of these guys even know who he is or what he meant to this team back in the day.

Right on! Hard nosed player and a role model these kids desperately need.

ghwk....I seriously doubt any of them are old enough to remember but that is what film is for. Meck going to take these boys to school. Paging gradishar? Randy to the front desk!

Loved this quote:

"They're trying to bring back the tradition that was gone for a little while and get us involved again," Mecklenburg said.

.....talking about himself and TD. (Hopefully more, later. I know Rod was there last month to talk to the team, as well)

Loved Meck. Lined up everywhere and brought it! Not bad for a 12th rd draft pick(i think).

I was just wondering if Atwater is or wants to be involved in coaching at some level.

Actually rod smith is bringing in the first 3. Meck is the first. Once the 3 are in, they will bring in 3 former broncos each. Its called multi level coaching. Rod will make a killing! Btw, coaches don't hav to sell Bazi.

What could he really coach though? Everything he did would get him kicked out of the new NFL.

Actually the other day.. He asked them who was with manning every day he was in working out.. No one raised their hand..

Told them that he was the standard that they had to raise themselves to.. If teh QB is in they should be also..
