Reporting from camp 7-26-12. I think we hit record in attendance today. We're packed to the tree line and the endzone. Full report coming this afternoon.

I for one think the complete opposite. The other is more fast paced as its happening. Keep this as a more detailed thread for his camp report.

Thanks for reporting ultimate!

Observation:

Brock was the first QB outside throwing before camp started. Oddly when the rest of players took the field camp started with punt return and punt protection practice. Punt returns were Decker, Thompson, and Drayton.

Then came some half speed scrimmage. Team broke for stretching. At about 930 team broke up into position squads. I was by the trees by the far endzone. All the WR were practicing their route running. Oddly minus the QBs. Point being all WR run the route tree. The difference running the route tree and doing the route tree with a QB that can complete it with you (something the punt protector couldn't do).

QBs:
Peyton Manning: What can I say about the guy that hasn't been said already. The guy is like a freaking jugges machine. Every time the ball came out of his hands it would hit his WR in his hands. Manning did have about 4incomplete passes. 2 were throw aways and 2 were due to great coverage. Something of note. Manning threw a checkdown and during 7-7 drills he threw the ball rigid fifth. progression instead of tuck and run after reading the first 2 reads.

Best of the rest:
Caleb Hanie most likely will be the game day backup. He did throw a pick to the "Duke" #39? He just seemed most ready to come off the bench.

Brock Oswiler:
He's a rookie. He's going to make mistakes. Threw no interception, but threw into coverage twice, and one over throw to TE.

The worst:
Adam Webber threw two interception into triple coverage. Practice squad for a reason.

RBs :
Not a lot of running today. Lot of play action though. there is a reason being able to take a snap from under center is so important. A lot of roll outs, sprint right options and QB key pass right plays you can use.

Willis McGahee : had a stretch run left that he was able to now a big run. And caught a ball out of the back field.

Lance Ball: ran with the second team. No catches. Ran a couple of times up the middle for little or no gain.

J Johnson: did nothing
Mario Fanin : did nothing
K Moreno: Did nothing except catch swing passes on pocket shuffle drill.
Austin sly: had one catch on a FB flat route.
Growk : had two catches on FB flat routes.

TEs :
I'm going to start this section with the worst. #82 C. Ingram. Targeted multiple times and multiple drops.

J Thomas: dressed but didn't line up.
A Miller: did nothing
Best of the rest:
J Dreessen : made a great catch over the middle off a skinny post.
V Green : nice catch on a 5 yard out.

The best of the bunch.
J Tamme : made only one catch, but he can real stretch the defense.
