Default Interesting Theory

I had a conversation with my wife ( a chargers fan ) after the Broncos loss. She kept saying " that game just didn't feel right ". Then the story broke about the rift between Elway and Fox. She suggested Fox threw that game. How do you play so conservative in a playoff game?

When the news broke that they " Mutually " decided to part ways, it made since to me. She maybe right. I watched the game over this weekend and I must say, it looked like that game was thrown. Too much talent on this team, to look so dry. Now I understand why Elway let him go. I didn't spend this money in the off-season, for you to coach so conservative. You gotta go....

What do you guys think

Don't think the game was "thrown", but I do think there was a lack of preparation, effort, and coaching dynamics to put the players in the best position to succeed.

I don't think they intentionally threw the game. I do however feel that they allowed the distraction of their own personal coaching goals divert them from properly preparing the team for the game.
The team was not prepared and played like it.

it's been 7 days since the loss. I find it strange that no one else came up with this theory.

I think, therefore, such as we should help educate people in west Africa and the Iraq.

Peyton should have been benched at halftime,it was clear he was incapable of getting it done, and his primary focus was self preservation.
unless brock is totally putrid, leaving manning out there was indeed throwing the game.
JDR, he coached like a raider fan, add that to your conspiracy theory
they are toast, its moot too

I don't think it was thrown. I think Fox took his ball and went home, the team followed. I knew we were in trouble when the story broke on the Fox pregame show. That reporter us Fox's **** buddy and I knew Fox was getting ahead of the inevitable.

I was hoping Elway would file tampering grievances vs the Bears and Raiders.

Much like the SB. I don't think they (Fox and Del Rio) even cared. They knew what the future held for them and it wasn't the Broncos.

Did they throw the game? No. Did they really care about winning the game? No.

The Broncos weren't prepared though but hard to tell if on purpose since this had happened before and more than once.

Interesting that Gase went from the hottest HC candidate before the Indy game to scrambling for a OC interview with bottom feeder Jacksonville.

Why?

How else do you have 10 pro bowlers on the squad and completely **** the bed vs the Colts?

Meanwhile...24 hours later Fox is headed to Chicago and JDR is already signing his contract in Jokeland. It all happened too fast, especially when you consider it took the Broncos a week to lock up Kubiak.

It's possible, but I'm waiting for confirmation from the light rail before I grab my tinfoil hat.
