Default I hate the wind.

Just got my power back after over a week of downtime thanks to the freaking wind.
And of course it happens during the hottest week of the year, temps in the 100s everyday.

WTF wind? I thought we were friends? All those times when you cooled me down on hot days were just lies?

Screw you wind.

Power outages stink. They remind you that you need a backup generator. Last time my neighborhood went down I cranked up my little Yamaha inverter generator (have two of them) and was able to keep fridge going, run some lights, have TV etc. My friend has a really slick built in bkup generator that can run his whole house off natural gas or regular fuel.

I hate the wind, other than the times when the answer is blowing in it.

Lets make a list of things wind screws up

1. Golf

2. Boating (esp wakeboarding and skiing)

There are plenty more, but these 2 alone have pissed me off enough the last few day.

The wind woke up my baby today during her nap and made her fussy. I agree, the wind has been a total jerk lately.

I have a 50 thousand watt standby Generac natural gas generator. Never had to use it yet but it runs the entire house if necessary.

Rick james, if still alive, would probably blow wind since he blew snow pretty damn good. Well, not quite good enough.

I dont have anything that big, but during power outages having electricity makes you feel like the king of the street. Neighbors stop by and ask how you have lights on lol. Strange you never even had a couple hours no power? I guess doctors have nicer houses, and better electrical grids lol.

Our house is 5 months old. I'm sure we will put it to use in the near future.

. If you live in a place that is that wind sensitive and you're not ready for it, bad break. Wind rocks little piggy, just don't have the straw house.

You know who else hates wind now? Trees.

I have never seen so many downed trees in my life. None down in my yard somehow, but at least one or two down in each of my neighbor's yards.

Wind Vs. Trees.

Wind won this round, but I've heard the trees are calling in reinforcements.

Its actually not really all that windy out here in the Chicago land area. Sure, we get the occasional gusts off of the Lakes, but not nearly as much as some people might think. It actually got its nickname "The Windy City" from all its long-winded politicians.
