Default Craigslist sites have all been down for me since 6:30 am Pacific ... anybody?

Is it just me? Two hours is a very long time for a traffic giant like craigslist. Weird.

It's not. Depending on the outage type, 2 hours is nothing.

Okay, but all their sites? Different cities are on separate servers at separate sites ... something's strange.

Here: http://www.crazedlist.org/ that's weird ...

"Men seeking men," you guys are so dumb. It's "Male seeking male!" You guys would be so lost in there, I laugh thinking about it. It's up on my phone now, gotta go.

Probably a side effect of the overall IPv6 conversion that took place all over the Web last night. Pretty big deal, actually.

http://news.cnet.com/8301-1023_3-574...?tag=cnetRiver

There were some problems anticipated with local/regional sites due to the conversion. I'd give it a bit, and things should smooth out just fine. That or you could just be getting digitally cock blocked.....

It's better than craigslist. Allows you to search multiple cities.

Seems someone is a little ansy to get back on the Man to Man link for their "hump" day.

What CL needs is to get that fundraising going to keep it free. BB, you volunteering?

EDIT: DAMN, Stugotts beat me to it.

I was looking for a 30ft boat trailer and a friend told me to go to Craig's list and post "WTB 30ft Boat trailer" and what I was willing to pay. He said the thieves use this like an order list and will go out and find me one and give me a call to pick it up.

I always wondered how that works but doubt if I will try it.

I guess it was a local thing, an attack on my ISP Clearwire. 'Local' in that they're based here and it was an ex-employee doing it.

Why would you not? Local pick up and save on shipping and see merchandise first. I sell open box items and sold an TV Stand brand new for $200. Retail $400. He saved, I made some money and no shipping of that big item. CL rules (but many flakes that don't have a paypal or credit card).

What's interesting is how many here are aware of the "men seeking men" area of Craig's list.

It is right next to Men seeking women. Pretty hard to miss it. You are just bent they haven't come out with a "Old Farts seeking horny Chicas".

I know a waitress that works for an "alternative" club - she said to me:

"You wouldn't believe how many men come in married, and leave gay."
