released by the Allen Wranglers for refusing to play in the last 2 games of the season. Ownership stake is forfeited as well. I'm sure he's on his way back to the NFL

He was probably given it for playing on the team. Selling tickets, etc.

It was given to him by the team as part of his compensation.

i know that, but almost any ownership stake in a team eventually leads to you having to dole out some money into the team for player personnel moves,stadium up keep and etc.

he was getting paid a salary but i guess if they sold more tickets that could be considered as his paying his way with the team in a ownership role.

As someone who works in the IFL, I can tell you with quite a bit of confidence this isnt TO's fault and that the Allen ownership/team is a disaster. Most talented team in the league, hands down, however there are so many environmental factors that prevent the team from having success.

This was never a good fit, and TO will get a black eye from everyone and I guess rightfully so given his past. Lets just say they are using a bs excuse to cut him. This is a terrible mistake for the Wranglers.

I hope TO gets his life squared around because everything I have heard about his time in Allen has been positive.

Dont be surprised if TO lawyers up either over this, but Im not sure how much the media even cares about this story.

Sounds like the owner used him then cut him to save paying him.
