OK, got a big chuckle out of this, this morning. Thanks all. Had a great day yesterday. Started with a run up to the North GA mountains with my Wife and the pup in the Jeep. Followed that up with dinner at our favorite Italian joint (La Strada). Hit The Avengers, back home for some cheesecake, then off to bed for dessert! Hope everyone had a great memorial day, and thanks for this. Puts a grin on my face.

Not too far from Blue Ridge, Ga. actually. Started out at Amacalola Falls: http://www.bing.com/images/search?q=...alls&FORM=IGRE
then headed over to Dahlonega, Ga on a great trail we found a couple of years ago: http://www.bing.com/images/search?q=...a+ga&FORM=IGRE
from there up to Suches over GA129 and GA180 (crosses the Appalachian trail), a couple of fantastic roads (180 is basically a paved goat trail, awesome on the bike, pretty fun in the Jeep), the on to the richard B Russell scenic parkway over to Helen, Ga. and back home again. Great day! Weather was perfect and traffic was suprisingly lighter than expected (Mem weekend is normally an avoid at all cost weekend up there due to the slow moving motorhomes/trailers/Harley Davidson rolling roadblocks).

Thanks Req. Haven't had a chance to get to your thread on your Grandma. Been thinking about you this weekend, though. I'll spend a bit more time with that thread tomorrow or day after. I've been lucky enough to have my wife home since Thursday night and have had much fun as well as knocking out some serious honey-do stuff. Work hard, play hard, eat well, drink the good stuff, love and laugh as much as possible. Pretty much the mantra all the time, but especially for the last 5 days. Perfect!

I owe you a reply to your PM as well, Rev. I'll get to you in the next couple of mornings as well. Got to go see the Doc for some bloodwork tomorrow AM. Once the Bride of Dracula finishes with me, I should get some time to catch up. I thought of you as I was cracking up Sunday morning when the Indy 500 started (Fn Al Unser)! Been over 25 years, and it still makes me laugh out loud every Mem Day weekend.
