Not a single pass from the #Broncos QBs have short-hopped a receiver. #NFL
https://twitter.com/#!/RenKnowItAll/...14817212928000 Peyton Manning to Virgil Green against first team D. would have been a huge gain in real action. Peyton Manning has been giving pointers to Caleb Hanne on the side for about 5 minutes now Manning to Joel Dreesen. Ball has a zing to it and hits Dreesen right in the hands the second he turns his head. Timing is flawless. Manning's cadence is very distinctive, very demanding. His release, spiral are what dreams are made of. Tebow is definitely not here, folks Speaking of lean tight ends. Look at Joel Dreesen. Dude is ripped http://twitter.com/#!/brandonspano Last edited by Gutless Drunk; 05-21-2012 at 10:44 AM.. |

Learning from one of the best ever. "So, this is how you do it." Peyton executes the zone-read option. Last edited by R-Mac; 05-21-2012 at 10:36 AM.. |

Seems a rip on Tebow in there. This thread should blow up. If anyone thinks we downgraded by having Manning here really does need to get their head examined. Tebow was fun but having Manning as our QB is going to be special. John Elway kind of special.

Good to see Knowshon out there taking hand-offs from Manning.
I hope in this offense he gets some opportunities to get into open field, I know a lot of people here are down on him, but I think he could be great in a situational role instead of pounding it between the tackles unless we really go the Manning way and only feature one RB per possession. |

Welcome to the laser show. They should give manning different colored balls to throw. Make it look like the ceiling of a pink Floyd show.

DJ was absent because he was in court.
Wolfe has to wait for his senior year of school to officially end. Ty Warren and Prater were contracted related no shows.. |

Manning is Awesome. Just finished off field media session. Was cracking jokes, answering questions sincerely, talking about preparation.
I'm absolutely blown away by Manning today. The way he carries himself, his passing ability, his vocal demand, his confidence, all of it http://twitter.com/#!/brandonspano Manning was fantastic today. He ran the practice top to bottom. He's incredibly vocal and clearly in charge. It's his team on day one. It honestly amazes me that manning is really here. He had a terrific first day. He threw the ball super duper Says the offense feels different than indy. On the field reps are the best. Nothing like it https://twitter.com/#!/dmac1043 |

Reportedly Greek was on the field constantly re-taping Manning's head on his neck. Here is a photo:
![]() The efficiency and impressive nature of the practice so early in Manning's Denver tenure was dismissed out of hand by Manning himself, reportedly. When asked about the efficient, up-tempo practice, Manning answered "Well the Chiefs have more talent, so this is really all for naught. I should have signed with them. I will regret my decision forever the first time my head explodes when Eric Berry looks at it in KcStud's wet dream this weekend." Demarius Thomas and Eric Decker agreed. "We know we can't play football. KCStud proved it in his bleacher report slide show. We are contemplating early retirement." |

Listing to the talking heads on the radio got me pumped up.. talking about how the 'feel' of the camp is incredible, that Manning just takes control and leads.. constantly talking to the players... a true on-field coach.

Look at the outs he's throwing. Velocity looks to be pretty damn good.
I also love the tempo Manning is practicing at (already). He's clearly trying to work that hurry-up mentality into the offense in general. A receiver catches a ball, and *bam* they're already on to the next play. You could see Manning was visibly frustrated earlier in the video when Stokley kind of jogged back to the line of scrimmage. With that style of offense, we should never lose at home. We have the weapons and most of them are young and full of energy. We're going to sap defenses of their will to fight at Mile High ![]() |
