It is. Well not if you're only into the Modern Warfare spray and pray fake type of game, but if you like realistic sandbox play, there's nothing like it.
I was creeping around at night on my belly with this dude I randomly met trying to avoid the zombies. It's PITCH black, we have to throw flares out 50 yds at a time and creep around the edge of the light trying to avoid them. We come across this farm house and decide to go inside. Immediately through the front door you hear the flies, the indicator that a survivor is surviving no longer. At the base of the stairs there's about 10 dead zombies surrounding 2 dead players. Upstairs was another dead player surrounded by a few zombies. This was all lit in red flare light. It was crazy, hard to explain how creepy it was. I'm downloading it tonight. I have always thought a zombie based MMORPG would be amazing. The pvp aspect of survivors vs walkers would be sweet.

Character models and movement suck, but the world looks very nice. Definitely looks like it might be fun, but my computer probably couldn't handle it.

The environmental graphics are actually amazing if you have a good rig. The character models are pretty basic though, agreed. The map is some 225 km2 in size, so you can't compare this game to console shooters. If you get spawned in the south and you want to move to the north side of the map to meet up with some friends, it can take you >hr to move through the zombie infested map, even if you know what you're doing.

I can't stop laughing at all those guys in sweater-vests pointing their guns at each other.

It's a lot harder now. The video above is from over a month ago. There are a hell of a lot more zombies now and they respawn as well, so you can't just clear them out. They keep coming and coming until you're out of ammo. The louder guns like the hunting rifle and lee enfield can't be used in towns or cities because they are so loud, the zombies will be alerted for a massive radius and you're ****ed. Those rifles have to be used out in the open spaces and woods between towns and cities to take out other players. There are silenced weapons, but they are extremely rare.
