Default Malik Jackson Agrees To Terms

Denver Broncos ‏@Denver_Broncos

The Broncos have signed DE Malik Jackson, the second 2012 draft pick to sign with the team.
so now that gives us signings of Bolden and Jackson. each who could see significant PT this season. still leaves us with 5 picks left to sign.

He's supposed to be pretty good! I think he was playing out of position last year, but he's supposed to be the back-up run stuffing DE behind Ayers.

Don't be surprised to see Jackson work his way into the nickel rush spot replacing Ayers on passing downs. He's a much better pass rusher on the inside.

in my opinion he's going to a key piece to this defense. he's a big guy who can play just about every position on the DL sans NT. he's gonna be a end for the most part but flex inside at times to DT.

he's good against the run and a more natural pass and more physical rusher than Ayers. don't think he'll beat out Ayers but he'll make us deeper on the DL and is very very good value where we got him.

History shows expecting big things from a rookie 5th rounder is usually setting yourself up for disappointment.

not in this case, we have **** for depth at DE(really nice starters) and DT and he's likely in the two deep at both positions.

Good news...he'll be very versatile. I'm looking forward to seeing him in the rotation at both DT and DE.

Seems like the Broncs are a little slow signing the picks. I see several teams have signed all their picks.
