Somehow, the validity of a viewpoint is enhanced when put into the slideshow format.

I love the logical fallacy that our running game was only good because we had a running QB. I then enjoy when they follow that up by pointing out our WRs didn't have much success last year.

I love how they question D. Thomas's ability to produce with a pocket passer. Christ if you can produce with a caveman such as Teblow throwing the ball I'm sure a HOF QB can get some production out of him.

Mcgahee with almost a 5 yard a carry average. Mr 1 yard gain lance ball even had at least 4 yards a carry.

did anyone really expect us to rush for as many yards a game as we did last season? this has become a passing team, so defenses will be looking for Peyton to throw meaning less defenders at the LOS and an easier path to positive yardage when we do run the ball. we won't run as much or for as large of a total, but we will still get positive production out of the runnning game and for probably a better per carry average.
give me a break on the lack of talent at WR. prior toOrton's demotion, Decker was statistically up around the top of the league leaders in most receiving catergories including receptions, yards and TDs. at the end of the season over the last month DT was the best WR in the NFL. now i am not saying these points mean these guys are going to be the best receivers in the league, just that they have the ability to be damn good, and with a guy like Peyton leading them, they are going to look great. Defensively, we still need help at the DT and LB positions. we have dropped a lot of ammo on the secondary. improved but still needs more help. the AFC West is getting better. however the Chiefs are probably a year and a new QB away from being a contender. San Diego's window of opportunity has slammed shut. Oakland is still Oakland |

People who have no clue volunteer to write this crap. "bleacherreport" to me is defined as a "fans" percpective. No merit and holds no water except for the writers bias.

So Thomas looked good last season, but it remains to be seen if he can produce with a true pocket passer? Apparently he has some rare ability that only manifests with bad passers. He just can't handle a perfectly thrown ball.

We'll see what happens this season. I agree our weapons are weak (Decker and DT haven't proven yet) they can stay healthy on constant basis. If they do good in 12 with nothing major injury wise I might relax on this issue in 13.

I'm still laughing at the complete incoherence of the reasoning between discrediting McGahee's accomplishments because Tebow made him good as a running QB and DT having failed to produce. DT only started 5 games and that was after Tebow became the starter. |

In fairness, I don't think the guy was attempting to discredit McGahee as much as he was trying to argue that the rushing success enjoyed last season was the result of Tebow. I don't think he's wrong.
That's not to say, of course, that Denver's running game will fall off a cliff now or that they're not capable of being at least average on the ground. |
