He's led Wisconsin to three straight Rose Bowls. He's done a really good job there. They are tough and physical. He's a very good coach.

From what I understand, some of his assistants last year actually bolted to Arkansas when John L. Smith was hired (I need to double check this), which I thought was odd. Obviously, they must have paid Bielema alot but I think maybe that was a factor too, considering they had a real dip between last year's team and this year's team, so he wants to get some of those guys back on his staff.

I'm thinking Alvarez is pissed he's bolted to Arkansas? Also, how is he gonna recruit decently in the South? I don't think Arkansas really thought this out. He's a conservative power running coach and Arkansas "was" trying to be known as a program for QBs. I just don't see the match here.

Florida Intl fires Mario Cristobal. That shocks me. He built that program and was a hot commodity last year. Look for Butch Davis to be hired there.....the AD is his lackey. I hope Golden adds Cristobal to his staff ASAP.

Tommy Tuberville is the new head coach at Cincinnati, a Texas Tech spokesperson confirmed to ESPN.com on Saturday.

He will replace Butch Jones, who accepted the head coaching job at Tennessee on Friday.

NDSU wins. Georgia Southern next week to see who goes to the FCS Championship. I believe Sam Houston State (who we beat last year) is in the other final match up. I think they will play Eastern Washington.
