Ravens and Pats continue to scoop up backup ex-Broncos in an attempt to gain an edge. Good luck with that.

I envision King taking over him until Welker is gone.

Willis for Welker, looks like a typical McDaniels trade to me....

So he's going from a simple 15 play check system where he couldn't remember plays, to a college textbboks worth of bubble screens and BS, and he thinks hes going to make it?

I can imagine the interview with BB...

BB: So, tell me about Mannings tendencies.
MW: Well coach, he grunts a lot, and I can't hear him half the time so I just run around a bit; impress the coaches, you know. Show off my speeeeeed.
BB: Oh, ok. This was pointless.

Except we should also get the Pats next year's 1st. That would make it complete.

I have to agree with that. Willis was pretty useless last year and did not take advantage of opportunities.

The San Diego game sealed his fate.

That was early in the year. He could have rebounded but he never did. Never took advantage. The few receptions he made were ordinary and he was tackled right away. He is going to have a short career.

Halfway-decent special teamer but an abysmal receiver. King should be better from day one.

If he goes to the patriots then that'll be 2 HOFer QBs who will have yelled at him for being a bonehead on the field.

When we make the playoffs, they won't be around to match up against us. Useless info for them. They are lucky to be in a weak sauce division right now.

I think it went more like this:
BB: So, tell me about Mannings tendencies.
MW: That SOB? Damn, he would tell me a play in the huddle and then go change it on me when I got to the wide out position.
BB: Tell me about it.
MW: Well, this one time in San Diego we were driving and ready to score from the 7 yard line. I am going to do a slant in the end zone when all of a sudden, he tells me to do something different. I can't hear him because the fans in SD were yelling so loud. Manning starts using hand signals. I am like, "Damn honky! I don't know sign language." I proceeded to nod like I knew what the **** he was talkin' about. I do my route as he promised me in the huddle and he goes and throws it at my back! How am I supposed to catch a ball backwards? Dude runs it back for a TD and he tries to blame me. I was pretty much in the doghouse after that one.

All I remeber of the guy last year was him running the wrong route in SD and they returned for a TD.............oh well we made an epic come back.
