I know the guy was out of Football last year. But last preseason I thought he was the most sudden DT we had. Got tons of preassure in preseason. I still think the kid will be worth something.

I'd love to see it. No longer getting my hopes up about unproven players.

What?

Is this your take or this "Jeff Lewis"?

I'm only asking so I know which person to shake my head in pity and disgust at.

Jeff Lewis
Yes, absolutely. He's going into his third year, can't break the starting lineup on either of his 2 teams, and has amassed a jaw-dropping seven tackles. Pro-bowler, take it to the bank.

I went to camp last year, and judging by what I saw, our best DT was Vickerson, followed by Bunkley.

I thought he looked good at defensive end before he got moved to tackle because of Warren's injury. Wouldn't surprise me if he beats out Hunter to back up Ayers.

certainly would be nice to have landed a solid DL for Gaffney.

I could see Jarmon making the team as a rotation in the under/over DT. He was 2x second string all SEC from a school that gets its ass kicked weekly, and then missed his senior season with, I think, a postive test result. He was in Wash's rotation, but lost his job in their 3-4 switch, and he's moving from a DE to a DT. He's actually built like, and plays the same position, as Ayers.

I'd rather see him in the rotation than TWO rookies. I figure they draft one 4-3 under/over DT. Supposedly, they have an offer on the table to Thomas, but so far he won't take it. What are the chances that Bannon, Vickerson and Warren all make it through camp? Slim, imo. So, I'd guess than in July we're looking at two of those three vets, a rookie, Thomas or somebody like him (Franklin?) ... and they'll probably go with 5 DTs on the 53 man roster.

There's no such thing as an "under/over DT" douche.

There are under tackles.

There are over and under fronts (which effects the aligment of EVERYONE in the front 7 ftr)

But there are no "under/over DT"s.
