Four of five at home to start the season? I don't know. Also we've opened on the road for something like a million straight years so this **** is obviously fake.

Here is the claim

Quote:
As a lot of you saw, today the NFL released the 2012 Preseason Schedule (http://www.nfl.com/news/story/09000d...module=HP11_cp). However, NFL.com also has the entire regular season schedule apparently it has been set for a few weeks. It's currently at the stage where it's actually loaded on NFL.com, but not made available to the public. The original plan was to release the NFL Regular Season Schedule the week before the 2012 NFL Draft (Thursday, April 26th). However, I found a way to access this early and wanted to give you all a look at what to expect starting Wednesday, September 5th.
Like I said who knows if its real so take it with a grain of salt.

I guess you must have missed the announcement about TNF Thursday games will be on NFL Network starting in Week 2 and ending in Week 15.

it got expanded on for this upcoming season.

I'd be surprised if the Patriots-Broncos game weren't on prime-time, too many storylines and too much star power for the NFL to resist....

Two national prime-time games in a row?

Everything else checks out though - if nothing else, it's a great fake.

I'm not sure the NFL would want any team to play a Sunday Night game followed by a Thursday Night game. Seems like too short of a week.

4 scheduled national television games and more than likely the Pats game would get flexed to primetime unless those whiny pussies b****ed again.

They made the Jets do it last year.

They had a Sunday night game then they played us on Thursday night.

Week 17 Sunday 12/30/2012 Chargers @ Broncos CBS 4:15 PM

FAKE!
first game is at home. We never have home games to start the season.
2nd game is at San Diego. We play the Chargers after October almost every year. Too early for the Broncos to be in the sun. Can't be real.
Broncos @ Chiefs on October 14th. COME ON! The NFL makes us play at Cheifs when it is bitter cold. Now I know it is a hoax.

If this schedule is real, then we have the Manning Effect going on.

This is probably the greatest reason I'd feel like this was fake.

I'd be absolutely stunned if the patriots and broncos game wasn't prime time.

The reason we always play away the first game is because CBS has the US Open and they don't show late games the first weekend, but if this is real, it has us on NBC so there is no conflict, plus didn't we start last year at home on MNF?

League says leaked regular-season schedule is “bogus”

Quote:
Many of you have submitted via email over the past day or so various links to a supposedly leaked 2012 regular-season schedule.
NFL spokesman Greg Aiello says it’s “bogus.”
Though the league necessarily can’t keep a lid on information that goes out to the 32 teams, the league office guards zealously the regular-season schedule. Since the teams don’t get it, the teams can’t leak it.
The regular-season schedule will be released before the draft. There’s rarely much advance notice before the thing comes out.
That’s what she said?

I would hope that-- for the most part-- teams playing a Thursday night game are coming off their bye week. Seems like exactly the kind of thing the Players' Union would fight for.

Except last year when Oakland played in Denver to start the season on MNF

We do if its a prime time game. If its on at 2pm MST, then no. Tennis bumps the late games on CBS.
