I like you but you sound a bit full of yourself here.

I will trust Mayock over you 6 days a week and twice on Sunday. Even if your armchair assessment of this was right.

Mayock built Fisher, mainly from hype at the Senior Bowl. I watched the practices and was like, "none of these dudes can rush". Fisher was a one-year wonder. I'm not trying to have a career in football, so don't worry about me. Mayock puts in work, so I respect that. But I don't care for any of his player analysis, especially Defense.

Mayockisms:

"Ayers best DL in draft"
"Jerel Worthy best DT in draft"
"Moreno best player in the draft"

I'm not sure what he said about Worthy or Moreno but he didn't exactly say Big Bob was the best DL in the draft. He said he has the ability to develop into the best DL in the draft a few years down the road.

He's waiting for their crappy receiving corps to get open. The entire line looks soft, to be honest. Holy crap the Chiefs are going to be bad this year. They always follow a good year with a really horrid one. Maybe it's their plan to draft in the top ten since this years' QB class is much better than last years'.

He's the guy that's probably missing a foot because of type 2 diabeetus. That entire scene captures KC perfectly. Fat, old, overweight, stupid, cheering for something that is at best really pretty mundane and in actuality going to be really crappy - That's KC football fandom.

61s talk to the hand block isn't stopping the panther coming right up the middle. Smith stays in that "pocket" he's toast before throwing it.

He said in three years Ayers would be the best defensive player in the draft

Yeah, cause he "flashed" once on a run play?

Eric Fisher was 3rd team RMAC as a junior. Then he's the best thing since sliced bread, because he shut Alex Okafor at the Senior Bowl? I hope dumb teams keep listening to that dude. More good players for us.

I rewatched the gif several times, there's so much confusion and offensive lineman all over the place getting absolutely owned. 71 got bulldozed, 79 (right tackle?) is confused, looking at the other side and not his own man. 61 looks like he is blocking a ghost while letting a linebacker blow past him.

The offense looked completely unprepared on that third down.

I don't think the chiefs make the playoffs but I can see them going 7-9. Middle of the pack order in the draft.

I think it was mostly his mullet's shadow doing the blocking, and that shadow blocks much better than the chiefs o-line, I might add.

QB starts in shotgun and by the time he hits 5 steps back, every single OL was beat. every single one. Here is the freeze-frame right before the explosion: 96 got there first. 94 was a fraction of a second behind, 91 had just shed his blocker and was in a footrace with the blitzing LB (58), and the other DT (#?) had just gotten around his man.

There isn't a single Chief OL between Smith and the DL...no one held their block, not one.

I know the Panthers have a great DL, but I believe we do too. Looking forward to seeing VonWareWolfe with a Pot Roast and Sly blowing this OL up.

They disguised their blitz so it's likely the protection called was wrong and you're watching everyone realize it at the same time.

I don't understand why people here **** on Fisher so much. The guy started nearly every game as a rookie, made their borderline probowl LT expendable and is set to start at LT in just his second year. Hardly a bad resume this far into his career, despite people celebrating a handful of lowlights.

No, I do understand. It's the Chiefs and we hate KCStud so much that everything Chiefs must be the worst thing on the planet.

The protection problem in this gif?

WTF is Alex doing taking a 7 step drop AFTER receiving a shotgun snap? That's not how that's supposed to work

Fisher's rightly washing the guy out of the play. Alex has no business being 10 yards down field (look at the LOS and where he throws if you want to lol).

Based on the expectations many around here have of Denver's first-rounders, this place would probably be razed to the ground if the situations were reversed.

No way. If Fisher were a Bronco blocking for Manning for 1 second per play, the OM would be busy fitting him for his gold jacket.
