I almost kFcdud wasn't banned just so he would have to answer to how bad Josh Gordon was tonight. Dude couldn't catch a cold, I bet he could still manage to buy and do lots of drugs though.

Between the bad play, turnovers, flags the Browns deadskins game is teh turrible suckage, kind of like watching kFc play.

Can't take away too much from preseason, but line play can be a bit telling

Despite the fact teams run vanilla coverage schemes, a lot of blocking in the preseason comes down to beating the man across from you

Thus far the Chiefs Oline looks pretty bad
Charles will help, but it is going to be another year of the checkdown

The don't have the receivers, Oline, or qb to challenge teams vertically

Oh and Eric Fisher thus far looks awful
He reminds me of when we had Zane Beadles at RT his rookie year

I've been saying it since the end of last year. 8-8 is the ceiling for KC and their absolute best. Do yourself a favor and go to Vegas. If you bet as much money as you have on the under on KC wins you will double that amount.

That's why nobody should ever believe Mayock hype. I said there were no good pass rushers in that class and I was right. Datone Jones was "the only one to beat Fisher" during Senior Bowl week, thus starting the hype train. Jones was massively overhyped himself. He's a guy who never had more than 5.5 sacks in any college year. Edge rusher? Not hardly.

The funny thing is that Joeckel looked good vs duh bears this week.

kFc had the 1st pick in the draft, drafted for need, then took a guy for upside over talent.

This could be the major bust that keeps them in the basement for years.

The funniest thing is that they let Albert walk and don't have anyone to anchor the line in any capacity.

All kFc does is let their avg to above avg players walk which kills their depth. Not sure how anyone can rally behind a franchise like that.

The Kansas City Chiefs continue to look for encouraging signs from left tackle Eric Fisher, and they continue to be disappointed. Fisher had another difficult game in Sunday night's preseason loss to the Carolina Panthers.

Fisher
Alex Smith took more physical punishment than the Chiefs would like their starting quarterback to absorb, but it wasn't all Fisher's fault. Still, he had a hand in it, and Fisher is now 0-for-2 when it comes to playing well in the preseason.

Fisher's transformation into a solid left tackle evidently will take some time, if it ever happens. That said, the Chiefs have little choice but to work with the No. 1 overall pick from the 2013 draft and hope for the best.

The Chiefs have too much invested in Fisher to give up on him. They did the smart thing last season by letting him play right tackle as a rookie while Branden Albert played out his contract on the left side.

Moving Fisher to the left side was inevitable. The Chiefs might feel better about that move had Fisher earned the promotion with his play as a rookie, but that didn't happen. They couldn't afford Albert, not with big contracts due to players like Jamaal Charles, Smith and Justin Houston.

And even if the Chiefs wanted to replace Fisher, their options are limited. They're having trouble identifying a third tackle on their roster, much less one they're comfortable with in the starting lineup.

I like you but you sound a bit full of yourself here.

I will trust Mayock over you 6 days a week and twice on Sunday. Even if your armchair assessment of this was right.

Mayock built Fisher, mainly from hype at the Senior Bowl. I watched the practices and was like, "none of these dudes can rush". Fisher was a one-year wonder. I'm not trying to have a career in football, so don't worry about me. Mayock puts in work, so I respect that. But I don't care for any of his player analysis, especially Defense.

Mayockisms:

"Ayers best DL in draft"
"Jerel Worthy best DT in draft"
"Moreno best player in the draft"

I'm not sure what he said about Worthy or Moreno but he didn't exactly say Big Bob was the best DL in the draft. He said he has the ability to develop into the best DL in the draft a few years down the road.

He's waiting for their crappy receiving corps to get open. The entire line looks soft, to be honest. Holy crap the Chiefs are going to be bad this year. They always follow a good year with a really horrid one. Maybe it's their plan to draft in the top ten since this years' QB class is much better than last years'.

He's the guy that's probably missing a foot because of type 2 diabeetus. That entire scene captures KC perfectly. Fat, old, overweight, stupid, cheering for something that is at best really pretty mundane and in actuality going to be really crappy - That's KC football fandom.

61s talk to the hand block isn't stopping the panther coming right up the middle. Smith stays in that "pocket" he's toast before throwing it.
