Funny thing, I am watching an old episode of "Say Yes to the Dress: Atlanta" and who do I see on it, Eric Berry, some sort of player for the KC Chiefs. He was there to help his mom select a dress for her renewal vows to his dad (26 years. well done by the way Berry family) and I thought it was sweet, but wondered how Chiefs fans reacted. With class. With lots of class as it turns out. http://www.chiefsplanet.com/BB/showthread.php?t=264694

By the way, my use of class was sarcastic. I know I am going to get some crap about watching a girlie show, but hey, it's offseason and frankly I don't know if you guys know this but I am a girl and sometimes after I spend time here I have to watch an estrongenated show to refill. Also to note, what's hilarious is Eric is in a bright orange polo with a blue polo horse on it. Just thought it was a lovely touch.

i never knew that, good point. KCdud owned again. Broncos remain superior.

Alex Smith says KC Chiefs have the playmakers to compete with Broncos, Colts, Patriots

Asked by host Steve Wyche if the Chiefs have the firepower to keep up with the Broncos and Colts of the world, Smith said, "Absolutely, without question."

"I think coaches and personnel guys think the same way," Smith said in the video you can view here. "I think they answered that question when they saw that a lot of the guys that we do have and the talent that's been developed. I think coach [Andy] Reid is as good as there is at developing young talent. I think a lot of people going to be surprised from a lot of the different people that step up and where it's coming from."

A defense that gives up 26 ppg isn't a good recipe for success. KC should be worried about keeping up in the wildcard race because the division is a 2 team race that doesn't involve KC.

kc has a big decision to make. Sign smith to a new long term contract or let him walk. If they franchise him after this coming season they will have to pay him like $18m, all guaranteed, for one season. That's a lot of money for a guy who has no future with the team.

Alex Smith is delusional.

Quote:
Although he claimed that there was "still plenty of time" to reach a deal, Smith also told the Star that he is aware of the recent deals signed by some other quarterbacks around the league.

"Certainly when you're talking about comparables and what the marketplace is for a quarterback, certainly you're looking at that," Smith told the paper. "And I feel like my body of work of the last three, four years is right up there with a lot of those guys. No question, when you're trying to put a value on something like that, you look at a lot of stuff."

I definitely think they'll be worse. They have historically always had a crappier year by at least three games after a good one.

It's a given. Their receiving corp could be the most unimpressive in the league, their o-line is garbage, their D sucks unless they are playing 3rd string qbs making their nfl debut, & they have a mobile version of Kyle Orton at qb...gonna be a long season for the queefs.
