Rumor is 3 years $10 million. That's a great deal if he can stay healthy. He's just nowhere near the amount of money that he was due from us this year.
Yet you kept telling us last year how dominant your D was and how great Flowers and Berry were in the secondary.

Your finally right, he would make a good 2nd or 3rd option at CB for the right price. Yet in kFc he was the #1 starter and still cannot find a team that wants to pay him after well over a week.

To be fair, he wasn't KC's #1 CB last year either.

Brokebacksteven can't understand that he wasn't a starter outside anymore and got beat out by a rookie. He's just spewing diarrhea at this point.

Chargers made a good signing picking up Flowers.

I was pointing that out all year and kept hearing about the dominant D and how great he was. It wasn't until the rumor broke that he was going to be cut that you jumped off his bandwagon.

It didn't matter who KC lined up at cornerback, they sucked.

Unless there was a 3rd string QB starting for the 1st time in the NFL, then they were DOMINANT

I fully intend to watch both KC/SD games and root for Brandon Flowers. KC couldn't have displayed less class. But that's what you get from an organization that sucks nearly as bad as the Raiders.

Well sure, The Chiefs have had the worst offseason of any team in the last 10+ years. Superbowl Dynasties don't get gutted as hard as the Chiefs did in the last 90 days. A drunk homeless man is probably better equipped to make decisions for this team.

How were they classless? He didn't want to show up for, and they decided to cut ties

Guess you could argue they should have given him more of a chance to experience free agency, but don't think their reasons were really classless. Tried to trade him, but since most teams suspected KC was going to cut him anyways, and there wasn't an interest on Flowers part to take a pay cut, KC wasn't going to get anything.

Don't get me wrong; I think the Chiefs badly misused him. They picked system over talent, which I'm never a big fan of.

Flowers is like Dwayne Wade. He's slowing getting worse bc of injuries. He wasn't the same guy last year bc of that. He's still a good CB when he's healthy, but is that gonna happen? He's been fighting injuries the last 2 years, including that knee.

You guys barely beat the Raiders the one game. I think it was the first one.

Nah it wasn't that close. 24-7.

But what he's bringing up means zip all to what I said. It's not the same chiefs, nor is it the same raiders as who played in those games.

He's trying to deflect the fact one team improved, the other took a dump this offseason.

So who is the better team right now? Who wins if they play tomorrow?

Let's bet. I'll say raiders split with KC.

Loser leaves the OM forever.

I don't think his injuries would have mattered a whole lot. Reid prefers tall corners; he's obviously not that. He might have lost a step, but if he is healthy, San Diego got a good player. I think they definitely have at least the 2nd best CB's in the division. Might be the best if Talib can't stay healthy.

The Raiders actually have a competent GM. It will be interesting to see how that translates over the next few years.

I fully expect the Chiefs to take a big step back this season. They won't get that string of sequential back up QB's again. And the lucky breaks will go away (a guy muffing a punt just when they need him to with no pressure.) They have also always been on a cycle of one good year and then a couple years of mediocrity or complete suck. Observe:

1998 7-9
1999 9-7
2000 7-9
2001 6-10
2002 8-8
2003 13-3
2004 7-9
2005 10-6
2006 9-7
2007 4-12
2008 2-14
2009 4-12
2010 10-6
2011 7-9
2012 2-14
2013 11-5
2014 - Based on Reid's coaching chops, they're unlikely to take a huge dump. But with a tough schedule, the loss of talent and no answers at their biggest holes like receiver, I'd wager 7-9 or 8-8. I'd be more shocked if they did better than that than if they did worse.

Well it was 7 to 14 until 2 min left in the game when KC kicked a fg and Pryor s 3rd second half INT went for a pick 6.

Oak improved alot this offseason.

Hard to say with KC, relying on alot of young guys.

Added some vets in FA and had a good draft landing Mack plus others.

The Chiefs wont get to beat up on 3rd string QB's this year.. holy crap.. if there was ever a team that pulled a lucky card every sunday playing against a team missing its starting QB that week it was the Chiefs... Does anybody really give a damn about the Chiefs outside a 50 mile radius of KC? That team won 11 games and got 1 primetime mnf game.. every team gets a thursday night... hell the frekin raiders can win 4 games and get more prime time games then them

That team is just boring to watch... Seriously,
