I wish it was financially possible to replace Carter with Flowers.

Brandon Flowers is 5th on the payroll while Houston and Berry will need new deals very soon, so we drafted a CB.
Also happens to be that pass rusher and DB hurt us the most down the stretch, so they were big needs.

Gotta plan for the future as well as the present.
Just face it, no one is going to take the Chiefs seriously as long as Alex Smith is the QB.

Just face it: San Diego won't even make it to a SB with Phillip Rivers and they will still have an empty display case.

Funny stuff here...Chefs fan calling out a Chargers fan for not making it to the Super Bowl when KC can't even win one freaking playoff game. Now I've truly seen it all.

At least SD has a fighting chance with Rivers. They gave the Broncos a better game than even the Pats did. That's something that can't be said about the Chefs.

Chargers won a playoff game this year. Did KC? Chargers have put up a competitive team over the last several years. Did KC? Chargers are the only threat to the broncos in the west this year. Rivers is a reason for that. But I guess you can knock on them cause you can pull out that dusty old trophy from decades and decades ago. Congrats!

Logic would say that Norv was the one holding the Chargers back all these recent years not Rivers.

Sadlly, even with the Norv factor, the Chargers best chance was in 2007 but had to face a 17-0 Patriot team on the road without LT, Gates having no business playing in that game and Rivers playing without an ACL and they still gave the Patriots a tough fight.

Who knows, maybe that winds up being Rivers's best chance and due to bad luck, it just wasn't meant to be.

No one is afraid of Alex Smith even on a stacked 49ers team, much less a paper tiger Chiefs team.

Do they give trophies for those playoff wins?

Congrats to Phyllis and the Chargers on barely beating our backups. Thank our kicker for them being in the playoffs in the first place.

I guess playoff wins are undervalued from a fanbase that hasn't seen one in years.

KC should have started their backups in the playoff game. Maybe they would have won, I mean they almost beat a playoff winning team.

I've seen SD play in the Super Bowl. I've seen oakland play in the Superbowl. I've seen Denver play in the Super Bowl... a lot.

I've never seen Kansas City play in the Superbowl. Not once. Never in my lifetime, and I'm almost 40.

I'm sure San Diego fans don't want to remember the ass raping they received in that Super Bowl just like Raider fans and Bronco fans don't want to remember theirs in their most recent Super Bowls.

It happened so long ago, it's irrelevant now. Even the 2006 playoff choke is so distant, who cares. I miss seeing players like LT but life goes on. I care about how my team is doing now.

How far back are we allowed to go?

How far back do you need to go?

I would say however long the GM and HC have been there.

Probably not, but it is still better then not playing in one.

since our GM and Head coach have been here, the Broncos have won the AFC west title every single year, three playoff games, and one SB appearance.

Since SD's GM and head coach have been there, they have won one playoff game.

Since KC's GM and coach have been there, they have choked away one playoff game.

I'm not sure this paints KC in as good of a light as you think it does.
