THIS is your argument? That KC has a shot at winning the SB despite having an average QB like Smith?

I'll put it another way. KC has a shot at winning their first playoff game in decades despite Alex Smith. Maybe.

What is more sad, the fact that since your lame team has won a SB ours has lost 5 and won 2 back to back or your team not even sniffing a SB in your lifetime?

Not even 43-8 can compare to the ass raping you are taking in this thread.

He can't get to the SB with KC's WR and Secondary talent. Sure, if he played with Seattle last year, he would have won the Super Bowl, but it is very hard to build as much talent on your team as they had. Seattle and San Francisco are probably the only two teams that I could see winning a Super Bowl with an Alex Smith at QB.

Did I miss the Super Bowl that Kaepernick won? What year was that?

They sure are working on that secondary.

He's likely replacing Brandon Flowers in 2015. KC still has massive problems in their secondary, and them spending a late 3rd round pick (who had most of those breakups in a below average College Football Conference) on one does not solve the problem. Their WR core has to be one of the worst 5 in the league. Their offensive line will likely be worse this year.

They are closer to being a 5-11 team then they are to winning the Super Bowl

The problem with our secondary was Dunta Robinson, Kendrick Lewis and Quinten Demps, who are all gone.

We'll see about OL, but there are still a lot of good WR's out there. Wonder who they will take tomorrow?

Soon, the seahawks will have to pay RW and a lot of the defensive talent will be gone. Good 'ol NFL parity.

Bad news for the Broncos, Chiefs just took Qb Aaron Murray. The means Alex smith could be on the way out. We need Alex smith to be a chief as long as possible. We NEED
The Chiefs to dump a lot of money at Alex
Smith.

I think Chiefs could draft Aaron Murray tomorrow if he's there. QB is likely somewhere this weekend IMO.

So, KCStud, do you cut Tyler Bray now that Chase Daniel is the backup to Smith?

Chiefs have had a pretty good day 3, after rather mediocre at best days 1 and 2.

Really like the De'Anthony Thomas pick. Obviously, Dorsey thinks KC will be fine at WR.

Probably because they wont play much barring injuries.

It's more-so future picks replacing Flowers/Hali as cap casaulties in 15.

I actually like Murray as a pretty decent backup QB in the pros. Possible lower-tier starter. Possibly better than the Cassel or Dalton types. I thought it was a good pick.

Wrong. Both will see the field a lot.

Terez A. Paylor ‏@TerezPaylor May 9
For people concerned about Ford's immediate fit - he'll play a ton on passing downs. #Chiefs spent ENTIRE Indy game in nickel.

And they will do the same vs every other passing team.

Ford was a major, major reach imo. Probably the biggest reach and worst pick of the 1st round. He had one good year, and is a very one dimensional player. He might get on the field, but KC had much, much bigger needs as well. Don't think he was the best player on the board and do not feel he fit KC's team needs.

I don't dislike the Gaines pick, really, but the Ford pick made KC's first two days, certainly the worst in the division. They redeemed themselves somewhat today, although I still have no idea who they're going to line up at WR

Also, I like the Aaron Murray pick, but you'd have to be on some major illegal drugs to think he favors comparably to Russell Wilson. Maybe Russell Wilson with the propensity to make boneheaded plays. He has all the physical tools though.

Then who should KC have picked first round?
