Looks like kFc got lucky on the bomb to Avery,

Colts CB Greg Toler tore his groin:

The team also elevated receiver Josh Lenz to the active roster from the practice squad, released defensive tackle Christian Tupou and placed defensive end Fili Moala and cornerback Greg Toler on injured reserve. Toler's groin injury played a role in the corner being fried by Chiefs wideout Donnie Avery in Indy's wild-card win over Kansas City.

I thought you were going to say the Chiefs have never won a playoff game during your dogs lifetime.

Actually, come to think of it, there probably aren't many (any?) dogs alive right now that were around to see the Chiefs last playoff win.

I had a dog before my current one who was about 7 years old when we got the second one in 2001. He never saw a kFc playoff win either, that is 19 Human years.

Hey I just came up with a new point of measure:

Human years: 1 year
Dog years: 7
kFc years: 21
kFc SB years: 44
Century: 100 years
Cubs WS: 106 years
Millennium: 1000 years

Time to put your dog down it seems. While on the subject, the Chiefs should be put down too.

I am flipping back and forth on NFL Network and the BCS Title game. They joy of watching the Replay of the Colts make their awesome comeback on the Chiefs.

That doesn't really work, b/c who knows how long their streak lasts? They may hit 30 before winning their first.

I just watched the NFL Network "A Football Life" episode "'93 Oilers" I heard the next episode is "2013 Chiefs".

Instead of the DC throwing punches at the OC in this episode Reid just wanders around the meeting rooms and sidelines asking dudes saying "Are you going to eat that?", Dwayne Bowe (among others) drops stuff, and the most DOMINANT D since the 2000 Ravens and 85 bears blows a 28 point in the 2nd biggest comeback in NFL HISTORY.

Or Reid yelling, "The Colts scoring too fast! They are in trouble!"

You can't make this **** up.

Quote:
Now that the Kansas City Chiefs season is over, a superstitious group of Kansas Citians has come up with the reason they think the city's teams can't win in the playoffs.

They call it "The Curse of the Shuttlecocks."

The group says that ever since the badminton birdies were put on the lawn of the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art in 1994, there have been no playoff victories for the Kansas City Royals or the Chiefs.

Same old Chiefs.

But if we fix that defense...we have a QB.

Oh yes we do. Finally. You watch.

Next year, this division is OURS.

Every year you repeat this. We told you all year how big a frauds you were and it showed. You didn't poke your head in here much like a little girl once you knew your team was going to get crushed.

That's cute. You still haven't learned. The Chiefs are, were, and forever will be a joke.

Alice had one really nice throw, the one to Avery where the Colts CB tore his groin and left Avery WIDE open. Alice Bono had another deep throw with the game on the line and he totally over threw another dude who was wide open.

Cassell was more accurate on deep balls than Smith.

kFc has so many needs and not enough picks to cover them this year.

They need a Tackle, 1 G, a legit threat at TE, 2 WR's, depth at RB, 2 DE's who can play the run, depth at NT, Another MLB, 2 CB's and at least one Safety and better safety depth.

That is a lot of holes to fill coming off a year where they snuck up on some bad teams playing a 3rd or 4th string QB starting the 1st time.

Plus even if they find 2 down field threats Reid is more of a short passing West Coast type HC who wants to control the game with his O. I don't see him coming out next year trying to chuck it deep on low percentage plays while he still has Charles and Avery to dink it to and make a dude miss. Smith only threw deep when it was wide open and when they were desperate for a play.

Face it Bob, as long as you have Reid as your HC he is going to run an outdated dink and dunk West Coast scheme, while on the other side of the ball the D will get some sacks but fall apart in big games.
