The fanbase is trying to convince itself that it's due to his hand/shoulder injury.

Bad year to pick 1st overall.
I'm not going to declare Fisher a bust because he got abused by the best defense in the NFL instead of looking good against SD scrubs like Kyle Long. But if he keeps looking this way then it's a definite cause for concern.

I think he'll be a good player. Plus, Rev told us so, so there's that.

As they should. You don't write a #1 pick off due to some bad play in his first two preseason games. But if I were a Chiefs fan (thank god I'm not) I'd be worried.

You can say that about every player. Geno is mentally soft. Manual plays crappy under duress. Neither are things an NFL starting QB can have and hope to succeed.

Also on Fisher, some of that is mental. He's probably swimming right now and he's missing is assignments. His feet still look good. What bothers me is he doesn't use hands - like at all.

Holy Smokes! Someone matured over the summer! Must be a big jump for you going from middle school into High School this year. Way to grow up young man! Did your parents get you a pet to take care of or did you learn how to talk to adults at camp this summer?

For reals. Nice post

Fisher has also been playing with an injury so I think that is definitey affecting him. He got abused by the SF defense but that's a damn good defense with talent everywhere. He's gonna have to adjust to the speed of the game, no doubt about that.

Also, if you can find a way to use it, check out the graphic here of the last five years’ winning trend.

Appropriately, it’s giving me the finger.

OMG the temerity of the new kFc staff to cut Rickie Stanzi!

Who will kFcDud latch on to the next answer at QB?

Kansas City Chiefs
CB Vince Agnew, DE Miguel Chavis, WR Terrance Copper, OL Ryan Durand, OL Hutch Eckerson, DB Otha Foster III, OL A.J. Hawkins, DE Rob Lohr, Kamaal McIlwain, RB Jordan Roberts, WR Tyler Shoemaker, QB Ricky Stanzi, DB Neiko Thorpe, FB Braden Wilson.

He looked much better the other night. I was impressed, considering the defense we played was statistically the best in the league last year.

Chiefs looked a lot better last night, although some serious warning signs on defense. This team really needed that TD at the end of the half.

Still pretty concerned. Alex hasn't completed a single pass over 15 yards this preseason, and the run game is not there.

Thinking 6-10 or 7-9 right now.

That is Alex Smith. Smith is too conservative and lacks confidence in throwing deep. I am draft Charles if I get the chance because the only way the Chefs will be competitive is if he carries the tea. Funny how Manning's arm is not the strongest but he led the NFL in plays over 25 yards. He has confidence in his game and in his WRs that make up for his lack of arm strength.

I wonder if any team will go 8 games this year without holding a lead in regulation?

They still suck, and you're a laughable loser. Looks like you picked the right team.

The worst team in the NFL beat the SECOND-worst team in the NFL. How is this news?

I would be more concerned about my O not scoring in the 2nd half against the worst team in the NFL who had what 5 total 1st downs?

Dinking and Dunking all the way to 7-9.

The yardage totals for kFc are pretty bad in week 1. No receiver had more than 4 catches and no more than 44 yards.

Charles is on pace for 1200 yards.

Blaine Gabbert is so horrid, but at least you guys won by a bunch. The Jags are obviously in the Teddy Bridgewater sweepstakes.

I didn't think it was possible for my opinion of Blaine Gabbert to get any lower. Then, I watched part of the Chefs game today. Cowboys looked pretty OK tonight. If the Chefs beat Dallas next week, I'll pay attention. For now, they're just a 5 or 6 win team that beat up on a 1 or 2 win team.

I think Jax sits Gabbert next week. They even have an excuse, his injury. Enter Henne.
