Check out the awesome pass rush on this dropped long gain from Brees to whoever burnt Flowers. Poe was getting his arse handed to him.

KC's pass defense still looks awful. But Alex Smith looks competent, and Charles should be a fantasy monster.

Agnew isn't a starter. Hell he's not even going to be on the ****ing team in 3 weeks.

Not much to judge, but Brees has a WR wide open on Flowers, but he dropped it. Depth in the secondary has to be a major concern, but yes, it's quite possible Agnew is the worst possible football player ever.

The Broncos scored 30+ points in 12 different games in 2012.

The Chiefs scored 30+ points in 12 different games if you combine 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, and 2012.

Dontari Poe beat one of the best centers in the league right off the snap. I won't mention Hali beating his block effortlessly. We know he's awesome already.
Poe had the best play of the game for kfc. I only watched the 1st half.

I loved watching Smith take a 7 step drop wind up to go deep...then dump it off to a swing route.

They will be better than some of the bad teams but I don't think any of the starting WR's caught a pass. Which is good because as the guys covering the game pointed out Baldwin is a bust and he is listed as the #2 WR.

I'm kinda expecting Andy Reid to bring a polar opposite attitude to that locker room. The locker room that caused Ryan Lilja to retire rather than play another season in KC. They have some good players on that team and I am thinking their floor is 8 wins.

Yeah he'll be gone. And he did get Flowers on that one, but that's why Drew Brees is so ****ing good.

I think only Rodgers can make those outside shoulder passes like Brees. They both put great velocity and strength on the ball while having the accuracy to fit the ball right where it needs to be.

One of the hardest passes to defend IMO especially when you play those QB's.

Here's another.

Manning had I believe 9 300 yard games in 2012.
Alex Smith has 3 300 yard games his entire 8 year career.

Dump offs and check downs will limit yardage.

I just hope he reverts back to his 1st 3 years when he threw more INT's than TD's!

Jamaal Charles climbed into a green cart midway through practice Monday, favoring his right foot, and started to unbuckle his shoulder pads as he was taken to the Chiefs' locker room.

They actually were using him a bit like Westbrook, which can actually prolong his career. Hopefully he's not too banged up. Cromartie was carted off and was fine the next day. Sometimes I think these guys give themselves a break from camp.

He didn't look too good running inside but then their OL is terrible inside.

Your right the check downs and dump offs will help him out. Thing is after him they don't have anyone who can reliably catch the football. The use of the word reliable rules out Bowe.

Out of curiosity, how much of a roster turnover are the Chiefs looking at this year, compared to last?

Our interior OL looked very good on Friday.
