Default OT-2012 TV's

Any advice on new tv's? Looking at plasma for my basement and led for my main floor. I liked the Panasonic plasma and Samsung led tvs. Just moved into the new house so I'm looking to put some "art" on the walls. Is it worth the $ to have them calibrated? Thanks!

Not sure if they deliver to south dakota, but I bought my TV from these guys 5 years ago for an awesome price and haven't looked back.

Good deals on Plasmas because self-interested retailers have done a solid job in convincing people its somehow obsolete tech.

If you're ultra value conscious, the best way to buy is always online at deal websites such as fatwallet or slickdeals when you see a deal go up.

As for calibration, you can do that yourself with some comercial sets if you're all about it, its not that big of a deal to get everything perfect, eyeballing it is usually enough, and only the sets that are designed to outshine others on the floor are really in need of calibration. Review sites will generally touch up on whether or not sets ship w/ accurate colors.

I love my plasma, it is in the basement also and no issues with glare or heat.
