I don't think so... Richardson will still be a top 15 pick. The only way he drops to to 25 is if he commits manslaughter.. and goes to jail.

He stated hes at 70% recovery from his knee scope a few months ago which explains his slow time.

Mark Ingram, Alabama - Heisman trophy winner, consensus top running back in the 2011 draft. Went 28th overall to the New Orleans Saints.

Just saying.

this isn't apples to apples really, each draft class depends on many factors

Sorry, didn't mean to come off as aggressive in that last point -- just read your "apples to apples" comment and the Good Will Hunting comment came to mind.

I didn't miss your point, either -- you were most likely making the point that Mark Ingram could have gone anywhere from 10th to 30th in his draft, depending on team needs and the quality of the other players coming out in that year. Same with Richardson. The relative depth of a running back class comes into play as well -- teams will pass on a back if they think they can get someone just as good a round or two later.

That being said -- it's apples to apples, my man. Exactly apples to apples.

he will still be gone in the top half of the draft. 4.58 isn't terrible for a RB of his size, it isn't great either, but he is still head and shoulders above the rest of the backs in this draft and there is no way in hell he lasts to 25.

I think he is talking about the overall class. If a draft class is loaded at at other postions then a guy like Ingram's stock takes a hit.
Opps you said that after

I don't think that he'll drop to 25 either, but I'm saying there's a chance. Nobody thought Mark Ingram would bottom out like that last year either.

Plus, very few teams have running back as a primary or urgent need in the draft this year. For example, the National Football Post only lists three teams (Bengals, Bucs, Broncos) who have RB as one of their top four needs in this year's draft.....

I can't think of anyone other then Adrian Peterson and Run DMC that I would draft in the 1st round at RB in the last 5 years. Is Richardson on that level? I say no.

Nope you weren't no worries man. They are apples to apples (never saw the movie) in terms of skill and all that, but you did state my point about how year to year despite talent one position can drop depending on a lot of things. A top ten guy one year could be a bottom first rounder the next.

Bro hug?
