We got Caldwell ****ing cheap. Guess that's why Royal wasn't in our plans. I expect Mays is gone after this year at that ridiculous salary. The TE's have their contracts a bit front loaded which is nice for the future.

That's cash not caproom and spread over 2012 and 2013. Tebow only saved about $500k on the cap or $1.2m depending on who takes on the $700k in guaranteed money.

I'm hearing it's 13 not 18 this year. It's all speculation right now. They will have plenty to sign draft picks.

What they need to worry about is how much that cap will raise after the new TV deals. I'm hearing like a 30% jump. Or up into the 190 range.

I like how Klis moved the goal posts on our cap space to fit the team's money spent. At the start of FA we had nearly $45M in cap room. Now suddenly $5M of that disappeared?

The team also pushed an extra million and change of savings into the 2013 season and hasn't cut anyone yet. Is there a good reason to give Goodman his salary? If we can find anyone else worth a damn isn't it better to save the $4M we're about to pay Warren for likely not playing a single down again?

There are still plenty of cash resources to be freed up and used if the team so wishes.

Goodman is almost certainly gone no matter who we draft. Chris Harris > Andre Goodman.

Yeah, this is BS. This is the Post....fluffing Bowlen's balls. This is a big red-flag telling Broncos fans they are close to done with spending.

Bottom line: when the smoke clears and their official cap numbers are reported they will be significantly under the cap. They actually had $50m of CAP room. ($27m from last year, and $23m this year). They also only count the salaries of the top 52 players (something like that). There are probably a half dozen guys who will be headed out....Goodman, amongst others.

Now, they do have to reserve CAP space for the draft and work out bonuses, but this team can sign more players if they want to.

We signed Porter and have Harris in reserve. Goody's gone regardless of the draft.
