Denver front office tried to "hide" Tebow trade?
Two blockbuster news pieces (Tebow trade, 1 year Payton suspension) released 5 minutes apart from each other? Not buying it as a coincidence.
A. Beautiful move by the front office to deflect some of the negative press that might come from trading TT. There might not be a better time this offseason to announce the trade in lieu of the Payton suspension announcement.
B. A stunt by the NFL to avoid backlash that may come from the announcement?
Which piece of news was released first?
Tebow will steal the headlines, but the Payton scandal will certainly bury some of it.
What's your take? Excellent PR? Horrible PR? Coincidence?

It was obviously a conspiracy. Sending Tebow to a small quiet corner of the world like New York City is the best way to hide that you traded him. No media outlet will ever cover this - especially with Sanchez so completely accepted by a fan base that is very easy to placate.

Manning called up Elway to deflect media reports of Payton being suspended. PM was relieved, when he figured out that they weren't talking about him...
