For some reason I would rather lose Manning to the Titans then the 49ers. I hope Smith takes the deal.

no this is old new.... it was the offer presented by the 49ers. Smith is pushing for 5 years so the 49ers, withdrew the offer for now.

Not me, I despise every ounce of that owner and his boat full of crazy. It's unnatural what he is. We lose to that A-hole we are even more a joke. 49ers make sense they are the sexy pick, but in NFC.

This offer has been on the table. At first smith balked at it. Then came out days later and said he was pleased with it. Changed his tune a day late. Now that offer likely isn't there for him right now. SF don't screw around with a 7 year failure.

The second Manning chooses and if's not SF then that deal is still there, for sure.

Here's an interesting way to start your Sunday morning: 49ers free-agent QB Alex Smith is visiting today with the Miami Dolphins.

Smith looks like he's also considering switching agents.

19-31 as a starter through 2010. Had an ok year last year. Made somewhere around $35-40 mil for that suckage and is balking at a deal? Nice loyalty, Smith. They stuck with you when nobody else would've.

I sure hope that EFX has a backup plan. There is zero chance we sign Manning. He is after a superbowl and the 49ers give him that chance. We lost out as soon as the 9ers jumped into the mix. We need to find Tebow some camp competition and try and re-sign some of our own and try and get some depth while theres still some good players left.
