Peyton Manning
Default Titans in the mix?

Bud Adams (owner): "Manning is the man I want. Period. And the people that work for me understand that. They know who I want. I want Mr. Manning with the Titans and I will be disappointed if it doesn't happen."

But does Manning want to be w/ the Titans. That is the question. As far as we know, he has no trips planned to visit them.

And you're going to be very disappointed when Sam Bradford turns out to be Joey Harrington II.

“He is the man I want. Period,” Adams said. “And the people that work for me understand that. They know who I want. I want Mr. Manning with the Titans and I will be disappointed if it doesn’t happen.”

“I hope to be one of the teams he looks at,” the 89-year-old Adams said. ”Since he went to school in Tennessee I think Tennessee is where he should be. I think he could play for two or three years. I think he’s the guy that could come in and turn this around for us.

“That’s why I am so anxious to get him to come visit with us and I want him on my team. I could sit down with him and show him what (we’d be willing to pay). If he would come (meet) with me he would be happy with what he’d get.”
“I want him to be with me the rest of his working period of his life,” Adams said, “I want him to come to work for us as long as he lives.”

“But I want Manning. I’d love to see him in Titan blue after watching him so many years with the Colts,” said Adams, the team founder. “I will be upset because if I didn’t get him. I want him. I am ready to do what it takes to get him aboard and I think he’d be the guy to get us into the playoffs.”

That's some creepy stalker like ****. I'd be instantly turned off. Also, who the **** wants just playoffs and 2-3 years? Peyton is thinking more than that.

Even the Titans fans consider Bud Adams a drunk, rich idiot. Imagine what coaches and players think?

Tennessee would have strong appeal for Manning I imagine. But they have a high first round draft pick as well. But they're in the Colts division, and I imagine Manning doesn't want to necessarily stick it to the Colts for the next 3-5 years. Could be wrong tho

Only thing Bud can offer him is Tennessee and a bunch of 12-14 year olds named Peyton.

Aha, TEN was one of the 12 mystery teams interested in PM. Despite drafting Jake Locker 8th overall in 2011.
