That's not the case with Manning. Not only will Peyton be a huge investment that will draw resources, but with Manning we're far more likely to invest in older veterans who offer short term impact. If that fails, in three years we'll have an aging roster and undeveloped young players. Just like we always did with Shanny.

With Tebow you take a building approach. With Manning the approach has to be to win immediately.
And our young talent like DT and Von will be coming to renewal time as well. They'll be alot more likely to shop around with a Manning hangover and nothing but question marks on the horizon.

The bottom line is that Manning is a far better option than Tebow. He could also be a great source for Tebow to get better.

I hope Manning signs here. Denver makes a few playoff runs, Tebow is used in goal line and short yardage situations and becomes a better QB because Manning is here.

But hey, that's just me being optimistic…….feel free to go back to pissing and moaning about **** that hasn't happened yet.
Grooming a young QB is mortgaging the future? If it doesn't work out, you move on, like has happened since day one in this league. No need to compound the problem with bloated contracts on a failed all-in though.

Why wouldn't you want to win now?

What exactly did you see last year to make you think Tebow is the saviour?

Did you see how the "Dream Team" in Philly worked out this year?

Well, we went from the worst team in football to the first Division title and playoff victory in 6 years. Did you miss that?

http://broncotalk.net/2012/03/31174/...nning-tracker/

10:59 a.m. (MT): 104.3 The Fan’s DMac has learned that former Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kurt Warner is holding a charity event at the team’s facility today and Manning is not expected to visit, according to “people in AZ.

10:57 a.m. (MT): As far as everyone knows, Peyton Manning is still in Denver. Which is a good sign.

10:52 a.m. (MT): ABC7′s Lionel Bievnenu is citing sources which say Manning wants to avoid drama and if he likes Denver’s situation, he may just sign here before visiting anyone else. By drama, Bienvenu must mean the drama of dragging out his decision, because there would surely be Tebowmania drama in Denver is Manning signed here. The report went on to say, “Then again hard to think he would not explore all his options before signing.”

10:48 a.m. (MT): The Denver Post‘s Lindsay Jones has chimed in, speculating that the longer Manning stays in the Denver, the better the chances are of him signing with the Broncos. Until Manning talks however, nobody really knows. The Broncos — and everyone — are waiting on Manning.

We got lucky as hell. It's not like we went out and won the division. There were about 4 plays that if they went the other way we were 4-12.

If tebow can take us that far Manning and the best players from the 10 Colts combined with our team will take us deeper.

Wow. It certainly seems like there's a mutual interest. I'm surprised that Manning would like the Denver situation so much.

Strangely some that like to label Tebow as "crap" and the "worst" think they should keep him around for some reason. More making sense around here.

I think that's a huge assumption. We got by on teams not knowing how to play us last year. With Manning it becomes purely about execution. I'm not sure we have the players for that approach.

I seen us get lucky in about 6 games then finish 1-4 and back our way into the playoffs and then get lucky that Pittsburgh had alot of injuries to key players and a horrible gameplan

Did you miss that?

Do you think that will happen every year

I'm not at all shocked you don't think we have a good team outside of Tebow.

It's hard to be happy about playoff wins isn't it?
