Hey, so all you need is Adam Vinatieri.

Makes sense I guess. I mean why else would the Colts cut Manning and keep Vinatieri.

Since were flingin' around 10s and 20s of millions, let's make a move.

About as many as Denver did in 2010 without Tebow.

How the hell are you hating on Peyton F'n Manning. If youre worried about his health, that's one thing, but you're criticizing his PLAY? Youre insane.
It's funny how a lot of the guys arguing against Manning give Tebow all the credit for the Broncos' improvement but won't willingly factor Manning into the precipitous decline of the Colts.

Lol you're the one said Manning didn't win without a great team. Just like every other SB winning QB.

So Tebow is on the same level as Manning then?

We've all said it's a factor. But trading the future in for a 2-year window requires a high bar.

And for my own personal taste, that bar is higher than a one-n-done playoff appearance and loss to 'Mark "Dirty" Sanchez.

Didn't we tag Prater? Lots of money in kickers I guess but we have Tebow so all is well.

Of course not. He's played 16 games. Who would compare a kid in his first 16 games to a 14 year vet?

But Tebow obviously improved the Denver Broncos. And we have no idea what his ceiling is yet.

Hey, if Vinatieri made Brady 16-6 in the playoffs, I'm all in.

How many clutch game winning kicks did he make? He sure didn't hurt his overall record lol.

The FO doesn't seem to care about where his ceiling. Have they ever done anything to lead you to believe otherwise?

I think they "care", I just don't think they peg it nearly as high as the Tebow fans do...

Let's give him #4. In the spirit of fully turning this franchise into the Minnesota Vikings.

Except with a playoff loss to Mark Sanchez (instead of Drew Brees) to show for it.

They have made no attempt to hide anything. Honestly I think they are creating the PR nightmare on purpose.

So you're against Manning leading us to the AFC championship game? Gotcha

That was Favre, not Manning. Manning's last effort (with a better team) was a one-n-done 17-16 shootout loss to future HOF'er Mark Sanchez.

Favre led the Pack to the NFC Championship his last year, then did so again with the Vikings.

But what you're saying is even back then the right move was ditch Cutler for Favre.

Gotcha. I'm assuming you were here on the OM pounding desks calling for the move.

If you want to hate on Manning's health, go ahead...but hating on his general playing ability? You will lose every single time.

No way.

If anything it will help tebows growth so much.

First, we know that manning will mentor Tebow and not pull an Orton or a Favre. He will mentor the **** outta him. Its mannings style number one and peyton knows he only has at max like 4 years left in him anyway.

Secondly, what situation would be better for tebow than to learn from two greats Elway and Manning? I cant think of one. Tebow can learn how to read the D, get the mechanics and footwork down. And Most importantly make Mike Mccoy expendable. because, well, mccoy sucks.

Tebow would not beat out healthy peyton this year, next year he could compete but not beat him out, but after 2 years of learning, and with tebows wok ethic...Oh yea, it would be a great camp battle. Plus, lets not forget that tebow will still have some RZ plays, short yardage stuff and what not. This is like a dream scenario for the broncos and for Tebow.

Peyton Manning: Report: Fins, Skins, Broncos Peyton favorites
Peyton Manning - QB - IND - Mar. 8 - 1:09 pm et

One team official who has contacted the player rep for Peyton Manning got the "definite impression" that the Dolphins, Broncos, and Redskins are the front-runners for the quarterback, according to CBSSports.com's Mike Freeman.

The same official believes Manning has already narrowed his list despite public comments to the contrary. Additionally, the official gets the sense that Manning is open to playing in the NFC, even in the East, contrary to previous reports. We would take this report with a grain of salt. Manning's agent isn't going to show his full hand when he can play interested team against each other. Mar. 8 - 1:09 pm et
Source: CBSSports.com

Broncos seem like the obvious choice out of the 3.

If Manning prefers AFC over NFC, it leaves Miami and Denver. Denver is in a much better position to make a deep run into the playoffs with Manning.
