I heard Elway is already writing rough drafts of his "it's ok tebow, we really didn't want manning anyway" speech.

I would say from their looks it was a" Good luck in the future...seeya around" attitude

Deal is NOT done, and we aren't getting him is what I would say.
Why would Peyton go through the pretense of a workout if he had already decided not to sign? Makes no sense. Maybe they made a push for him to sign today and he wasn't ready to commit.

It would be odd, though, if Denver felt they were out of it for John to suddenly tweet about liking how Peyton looked. Hasn't even tweeted anything about this prior.

I think it's Elway being classy, even though he didn't get his guy.

We don't know that they went "all in", though. If they have been spurned, why would Elway suddenly tweet about how they enjoyed their visit when he hasn't commented on the topic at all until now?

John Elway@johnelwayWatching him throw today was the next step in this important process for our team and Peyton. It was a productive visit and went well.

I dont get why people would want to pay money for mediocrity. Just go with Tebow, if he crashes and burns, youre at the top of the draft for a new guy.

What was the figure on how much Titans and 49ers can give him vs nearly 30 million he gets from us first two years? This is going to drag out a few more days, but I agree the team feels we are in it until the end. Especially if John is willing to be this public about it.

Agreed. Peyton for whatever reason just can't commit yet; his sense of due diligence is probably pretty high.
