Exactly. So, the question is whether or not Manning would give the 49ers a discount because they are the better team. Indications have been that Manning is not going to work for any discounts. So, I don't think the '9ers will ultimately be major players in this. I think Harbaugh took the visit as leverage with Smith.

FO can restructure contract pretty quick if needed. If they want Manning and are actually working on the same parameters as the other clubs then they will get it done.

I was having a hard time understanding it to but his most recent tweet says we are offering 5 years $90 million so roughly 18 a year im not sure how much of that is guaranteed money though.
