Well if the contract parameters out there are correct... and the 49ers are in fact serious about adding him (he went through a physical apparently), and Manning own words of money not being important but legacy... then he would be a fool not to sign with the 49ers. With him they are the best team in the NFC. No DOUBT!!!

Right now if we don't get him on the plane back... it's OVER!!! I hate how we got played if this is true... and what a FAIL from the FO. We didn't upgrade our team in the best quality FA ever... Well, a day or so ago, the niners were confident A. Smith would sign w/o much difficulty.

Frankly I don't care anymore. I don't think Den will win 6 with Tebow at qb, and frankly I'd be ok with that and get Tyler Wilson in the draft and let the teboners gtf out of Dodge.

No clue. They had the contract on the table for a while. Smiths camp came out and said they were pleased with it. Then silence the entire week. I think the niners pulled the contract back.
