Haven't we been talking contract with Condon for a day or so?

If we spend a first rounder on Weeden I will **** down someone's neck.

Not that I was bullish oh Manning but if there is anying remotely true about an extraneous deal for compensation outside the cap structure the Titans should be docked worse than the Saints. It violates the very spirit of the salary cap and creates a precedent for secondary compensation that renders the cap moot.

What does Bud Adams care? By the time the punishment comes down, he'll be dead.

No way we take Weeden with the #2 pick. We have all this holes to fill and our FO stood still while waiting for MF Melon head!!! If he is available at our #3 then go for it. But our prime picks must be used on DEF.

By the way... I prefer Foles in the 3rd or 4th.

That is not happening. Don't you guys remember Pat getting penalized or something like that by doing something similar with Elway?

That's what makes him such an ahole. He's just scorching the Earth on his franchise, his front office, what he leaves his family and the spirit of the rules and traditions of the league. He just flat doesn't give a **** about anything but his greed.

Nothing nastier than the selfishness of an old man.

Actually, if the Broncos are going to draft a QB, the best bet may be Cousins from Michigan St. but not in the 1st round though.

Anyway people... nothing is final yet. Until that happens there is hope (even though I don't support this move, I understand that in the short run it makes us better)... just somebody find OrangeEmpire and pull him away from the ledge and all kind of pointy and slicing stuff.

I agree with this completely. The people talking about trading up for a QB are out to lunch. Nothing more than emotional backlash from their disappointment over losing Manning.

I just do not see what all the hoopla was and might be about..

getting one more ring and then back to medicority becasue we shot our wad on a ticking time bomb..

I'd rather see it work over the long haul, winning and building via the draft.. Picking up an occasional aging vet to bridge the gap until the kiddies are ready to produce..

that is not what manning brings to the table ..

he brings going all out to win now screw the future..

Sorry but if he comes ok if he does not life does not end.

LEt me add IF we had a chance to get him 3 years ago without a doubt I'd be all in.

Him runing no huddle at 5280.. an offensive dream and the opposing DCs nightmare..

I guarantee you the Broncos will acquire serious competition, if not an outright replacement, for Tim Tebow before the upcoming season starts. So if anyone is out to lunch you're there with them. And please note I'm not saying that's what I want them to do, or what they should do. But it's what they're going to do. Elway couldn't have telegraphed this any more clearly without outright announcing it.

my guess would be Osweiler because Cousin is supposedly creeping into the 1st round or very high 2nd.

It was Peyton Freaking Manning!!! No, you sure don't want them to do that type of move....but you are always posting the same stuff. You know squat of what Elway's next move is. We will sign a vet like they said. None of the available merits sitting Tebow. Enough already stick to your feelings. If you don't want Tebow starting just say it. Don't be such a p***Y about it...

Brandon Spano Show ‏ @BrandonSpano
Okay, here's my comment on the current Manning situation and rumors

Brandon Spano Show ‏ @BrandonSpano
Media that covers the Titans are reporting that they are nearing a deal with Manning. So what.

Brandon Spano Show ‏ @BrandonSpano
The Broncos have been Ironing out a contract with Manning since before he even visited the Titans.

Brandon Spano Show ‏ @BrandonSpano
If it takes them as long, we wont know until Sunday. But it wont. We will know something by tomorrow at the latest.

Brandon Spano Show ‏ @BrandonSpano
Bottom line: It's not over until its over. Manning was going to be a Bronco on Tuesday before Bud Adams last ditch effort.

Brandon Spano Show ‏ @BrandonSpano
That means that Peyton's mind had to be changed away from the Broncos. Has it been? We don't know.
