Peyton has such an appreciation of the game, I think he'd be impressed with head coach who's in the Hall of Fame. Not 2 mention OL coach, 2.

No matter what happens with Peyton and the Titans, he'll always be loved in Tennessee. It's a can't lose proposition for him.

If Peyton goes to Denver and it doesn't work out, Broncos fans will howl cause they got rid of Tebow. Peyton's will always be a hero in Tenn

I've covered Bud Adams for more than 30 years. Once his mind is made up, it's made up. They'll hand Peyton a blank check.

I may be wrong, but I expect Bud Adams to get his man. I think Peyton will become a Titan and run the franchise when his career ends.

It will be intersting to see if EFX does pursue Flynn if they lose out to Manning. There's no question they will sign someone, because Tebow is the only QB signed to the 53 man roster for next season. The only question is who they will sign. Will it be someone like Shaun Hill, who's a career backup, or do they make a run for Flynn, who has long-term starter potential.

Based on one game playing with the most powerful offense in the league?

Actually, it's two starts (he also played a great game against New England in 2010). But, yes, I see your point...which is why I said long-term starter POTENTIAL. I didn't claim he was a sure thing. I'm just curious if EFX will truly be content to go with Tebow in '12 if they lose out on Manning, or if they will make an aggressive push for the only other guy available who MAY be a long-term solution.

Honestly I don't think Peyton is thinking super long term here, in regards to him finished up playing and wanting a crack at the FO in TEN. I think the dude just wants to play ball and try his best to win a few more rings before he's done. And when he is done, I imagine he'll take a few years off from everything football. So anybody trying to play the "oh but he can be in the TEN FO when he's done", I wouldn't buy that for a nickel.

8:22 pm Von Miller: How scary would that be if we got Mario Williams? Lebron, dwade, and bosh did it..I would take a huge pay cut to get Mario Williams and Peyton Manning! I just want to win!!! #BroncoNation it's our time! I'm "positive" Tim wouldn't mind competing with Peyton... "We" all could learn something from Mr. Manning. #truth Mario and Manning = I will play this season for free, super bowls are priceless!!!

well, it probably is. there are two reasons for him to be a titan that are more compelling than what we can offer:

1. blank check

2. the "I'm going to end it where I started it" press conference. people love narratives.

Will he necessarily get a lot of pleasure in sticking it to the Colts 2x/year?

...special deal ...NO will trade Brees to highest bidder after signing Manning!

So now he takes the next 20 hours to decide...and to see if he can get another team to step up and beg him to come there ( SF or Seattle), plus give AZ more time to stay in the race. Price keeps going up and up.

This could go on for another 4-5 days at least.

**** or get off the pot. Time for Elway to tell him his answer must come tomorrow, or move on.

Tell Manning now or get lost? Yeah, that is a good strategy to get free agents

maybe i'm reading into it too much (we all are), but him leaving tennessee and heading back to north carolina for the night is a good thing. Wouldn't want to announce you're choosing Denver while in a state that suddenly isn't too thrilled about you at the moment
