Default The Ron Paul Media Blackout Is Back On

MSM back to their old agenda-driven tricks again. How anyone can rely on them as reliable news sources is beyond me.

The Ron Paul Media Blackout Is Back On

http://www.theatlanticwire.com/polit...ut-back/47925/

JAN 26, 2012

After a brief spike in interest, the mainstream media coverage of GOP candidate Ron Paul is back to nearly nothing, according to the Pew Research Center's Project for Excellence in Journalism. This week, less than 5 percent of all campaign stories focused on Paul, the lowest point since Dec. 11. when strong performances in Iowa and New Hampshire helped stoke some interest. Over the same period, Paul's performance in the polls has only improved, going from the single digits to 12.7 percent, putting him nearly even with Rick Santorum, in the current RealClearPolitics average.

But in Pew's weekly study, Paul has been heading in the opposite direction.

He challenges the status quo, therefore he must lose and not be heard from.

You'll do anything to criticize anyone who might actually supports legit positions that the Democrats do not, regardless of whether or not you're voting for Obama.

Kinda funny about that FB page - 'Ron Paul Equals MORE Corporate Power' - last I checked, he was the only major candidate who hasn't gotten millions in donations from Goldman Sachs. GS is Obama's #1 donor.

Back on topic - the media disconnect here is deliberate and obvious.

That's a reflection of how seriously they take Ron Paul as a candidate.

Nope.

If you read that piece I posted entitled "Facing the Ron Paul Problem" you'll find a very compelling case supporting the "cons" listed in the graphic.

Trouble is, it's highly unlikely that any of RP's supporters even bothered to read that piece.

Do you honestly believe they could buy favors from Ron Paul like they can from the other candidates?

They don't need to buy him. He's already their dream candidate.

I didn't know typical conservative republicans wanted to end the Federal Reserve, or even audit them. I didn't know typical conservatives wanted to end the war on drugs. I didn't know typical conservatives were against corporate welfare and corporate personhood. I knew they claimed to be for cutting taxes, but I didn’t realize they were for major tax cuts for the bottom 99%. I didn’t know that conservatives refused to play the hand bought by Goldman Sachs. And, I definitly didn't know conservatives were against legislating morality! And that's just the tip of the iceberg. By your definition, typical conservative republicans have only one dog in this race.

Goldman Sachs writes the regulations. So we need to remove the regulations that rig the market in their favor.
