I would put center lower than that number 3, Walton is no Nails but right now I don't think we can afford to dump a lot of resources into the center position with some of the other needs we have.

Strong safety isn't a need at all, Carter will start at that position if all goes well, free safety on the other hand is up in the air.

Let's get the guy from NO on our line and pay him some bucks.

Maybe it's not an ordered list of needs. I'd put CB, DT, and young RB as our top 3 needs. Veteran S if Dawkins retires. Developmental QB.

Ryan Harris is signed for next year, isn't he? Maybe he could start again at T and move Franklin to G if Kuper isn't back soon enough and/or they want to replace Beadles.

"Unless Denver wants to start 2011 fourth-rounder Quinton Carter next year"

lol'd. Carter was a starter ALONGSIDE Dawkins this year. Obviously they want him as a starter next year...

Also lol'd at them ranking Eddie Royal as our 3rd best FA over Thomas

I would like to see us take the BPA in round 1 for DT or MLB. Actually first two picks, DT & MLB imo. Unless there's a no-brainer, can't miss BPA at another position of need. I'd even be stolked for DT, DT, though dont think they will with our pressing needs. Just make sure to re-sign Bunkley.

Being able to go BPA is why I think we need to target some good mid-range FAs out of the gate.

If we can leave FA with the following:
Dan Connor, MLB from CAR
Carl Nicks, OG from NO
Jason Jones, DT from TEN
Any of Grimes/Carr/Porter for CB

We can really go BPA in the draft, assuming we retain Bunkley. Four FA signings, only one who's a big money guy (Nicks). Do that and we're looking at solid starters through the first string with young, high potential competition behind almost everyone. DT would be the only real questionable spot, lacking high potential young depth.

You could sign all of them easily with the massive amount of cap room we have available too. We'd have a stranglehold on the division going forward.

I also like how for all the DTs, the big negative is that they aren't good at rushing the passer.

Are you willing to bet on Harris staying healthy for 16 games? I sure dont

I'd love to have Harris as our swing tackle but I'd absolutely hate to see him counted on as a starter.

Ideal world we replace Beadles who can then compete with Walton at C while also backing up OG. Together he and Harris back up OT as well. We'd have real good depth and still be very young on the OL.

I'm really interested to see what Mario Fanin can do if he is healthy.

I heard during the season that sacks are worth "two points" you know.

If Konz is there at #25, Broncos must take him...

He is the best center prospect in years. Then pick up Kendall Reyes in the 2nd.
