Default Why you need a good kicker

Whatever Prater wants, give it to him.

One good thing about being a Broncos fan, is you generally don't have to worry about the damn kicker making a clutch kick.

Prater is one of those $2mil a year kickers.

Edit: I just checked Billy Cundiff's salary. It's like $3mil a year.

I say give Prater 4 mil.

Yeah, and Cundiff potentially cost them 6 points, since the Ravens went for it on 4th and 6 because Cundiff was 1/6 on 50+ yard kicks this year.

Of course, the whole Cundiff thing is academic if Evans holds on to the ball 2 plays earlier.

I really hope we re-up Prater. The guy has ice (*and insert BAC joke here as well*) in his veins. I'm never worried when we send him out there.

When I was in the Navy, watching NFL games out at sea was a spectacle... there were four hardcore NFL fans: me (Broncos), Gilly (Pats), Chief (Saints) and a guy we called V-12 (Raiders). We few mild NFL fans: Mo (Vikes), Stevens (Broncos), Ian (Pats), and Cutty (49ers).

Ian would always make fun of Gilly, Me and V-12, because we were the guys in that video. It was especially fun whenever any combination of Pats-Broncos-Raiders were on.

That was a fun era for me, because that was when the Broncos were dominating the Raiders and the Pats.

Stevens was pretty quiet, but I do remembering him letting out a big "who-hoo" during the draft when we picked Cutler.

Yeah, better not lowball Prater, or Balt will make him a good offer.

That was a horrible shank by Cundiff, I thought at first it was a bad hold, but it was pretty good. I didn't even know the guy was still in the league. I remembered he was cut by Dallas long ago. I see he was cut by NO and CLE also, but he was ALL-PRO last year at Balt. Lot of downs, then up, now down again.
