Default Resident Evil 6...

This game has come along way from walking slowly or running in circles in a creepy mansion.

Resident Evil 2 is what hooked me into zombies. Original Playstation.

Most favorite-est game ever.

I'm not proud of this, but when I bought RE2 the first time I played it, I played it at night. Licker busts through the window in the police station and I shrieked like a little girl and did not touch the game again until the next day. With the sun up. And my brother in the room.

The fact this game appears to take place at night already makes it better than 5.

RE4 was the best in the series by far, and one of the creepiest games I've ever played. RE5 was a big disappointment, and I was hoping they wouldn't keep taking the series in that direction. Guess I was wrong.

This looks epic and cool, but RE has always been an intense horror survival game. This has the look of "our marketing department really likes Call of Duty". Bah.

I stopped playing RE half way through RE Veronica....I was bored so badly. It's one of 3 games I quit half way in.

I may have to pick up RE4 though...

Your right it has come a long way, the new one looks awesome.

Funny you say that too, As much as I loved the original one, i do remember being frustrated and thinking all I am doing is running in circles in a creepy mansion. However, it was the only game I ever played in my life where I was legitimately scared and my heart rate went crazy.

I've played almost all of them. RE4 was a big step forward. RE5 was a disappointing step in the wrong direction. I enjoy them, but they're not all good, and some are too weird and the plot seems to be going nowhere. Hopefully this moves things in positive direction.

And the name "Resident Evil" is incredibly stupid. There was nothing wrong with Biohazard given the context of the story.

RE1- Liked the mansion being new series idea.
RE2- I don't remember it except the beginning I'll play it again
RE3- Nemesis was lame but, saw on the net this was RE's best ending in polls
Ver- This is honestly one of my favs two parts
RE4- Liked this game alot (Wish it had zombies like before though)
RE5- yuck only played it to static monster thing haven't played it since

I agree mostly with this. RE2 was fun to play but too generic and overly-Japanese at the end (Walking plants and everything mutates into infinity ZOMGGG!!!).

I also enjoyed Veronica, other than the bad Canadian voice acting, though I suppose that's part of the charm of Resident Evil (See: Master of unlocking RE1)
