Seen that movie about 10 times and have no idea about the song or who wrote it...or anything about. The 80's music pretty much sucked.

Tim Tebow's fire? This song is gawd awful, it's not even a good parody song...it sounds too much like a hemmorhoids song or something...and what's up with putting crap about eagles in there, it's like saying we want to be in Philly or something..and yes I know he meant the animals, but couldn't he have done something being where Broncos/McGahee/Tebow run free or something? Geezus. Plus I don't buy the crap about him being inspired by Tim, he's just climbing on to get some publicity and milk it for some post-1980s relevancy...sort of like the Chiefs trying to get posts 1970s relevance by clinging to a QB from the 80s 49ers.

I have always been reminded of Eric Liddell with Tebow. I was thinking of another 80's "Fire" movie.

Its insane. Tebowmania is spreading faster than anyone could have imagined.

I have said here that I believed that if Tebow became the type of player who had regular success in the playoffs, that he would be as big as Elvis in the US.

I take that back.

Given those circumstances, he's going to be bigger than Elvis.

Funny you mention Elvis! I could have sworn I saw Tebowing somewhere before.. the move Tebow made at the end of the Steelers game reminded me of it..

Just make it stop.

Can't we get something by Def Leppard or Bon Jovi or something? That was awful!

I would rather hear Tony Basil singing "Oh Timmy, you're so fine, you're so fine you blow my mind, hey Timmy! Hey Timmy!"

If you go to youtube you will find dozens of Tebow songs. From Raps to Rock. Not that many are good. I thought this was the best one, really because the guy plays pretty good guitar and the lyrics are not overboard stupid silly.

Holy ****! That's not a parody -- that's the original singer (John Parr) who re-recorded it, a la Elton John and Candle in the Wind.

This is getting ridiculous.....

Do these not make it into the curly mullet category? If they do, it's a tight competition....
