It's not bad with the benefits and when you realize the job requires them to really do absolutely nothing..... but they did leave out the part that says you must be niece or nephew of a congressman to apply.

Since the qualifications are:

A master's degree or equivalent, or two academic years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such degree, or LL.B. or J.D., from an accredited college or university. To be qualifying, graduate education must be in a field directly related to the duties of this position and must have provided the knowledge, skills and abilities that would be acquired through one year of specialized experience as described above.

And since there is pay freeze and no step increases, it not a great deal if you have those qualifications, especial in the DC area.

Plus is you live own 66 and what not it'll take you average of 4 hours a day in commutes. Funk that.

Doesn't work that way, you can not directly request a name to be pulled from USAJOBS. The candidates have to qualify and if there is vet or wounded warrior, they automatically go to the top of the list and they get preference.

And it poor title but I bet this is in OLA office for the agency and that is not an easy job since you are dealing with Congress.

I live inside the beltway and three times this week it taken me an hour and half to go 10 miles.

JD's are basically a requirement for political service in DC.

Its a good way to keep the serfs out of the system.
