Default Here's a fun question!

If you had any other QB in the league with the number 1 rushing attack and a defense that held the opposing team to one touchdown at home, and that QB put up the kind of numbers Tebow did, would you be making the same excuses?

BTW, this poll is public Mile High Mojo

In before the poll. And the answer is no.

Rushing attack can't be measured just by total yards, because that number is highly skewed by the massive disproportion of running plays. The run game fails to deliver quite a bit in short yardage.

If the play-calling and route-running was bad, I would still point it out. Usually, in a performance that bad, there is more than one thing going on.

But there's no question Tebow's play was bad. We have a perfect storm of negative reinforcement right now -- three of the Broncos biggest weaknesses are currently overlapping each other and resonating.

What we need is a new coaching staff. Tebow was great in college.

Where the "TheDave would have put up similar number" option.

Make you miss the SOB days at QB.

Tebow has been awful the last couple of weeks.... Right now our team is being exposed as a fraud in nearly every phase of the game.

Can you imagine if Orton had this kind of game? I mean Tebow basically replicated Orton's game to a T: The sack to take us out of field goal range, and the fumble near the 20 - that's at least 6 points and the margin of victory right there. Bronco fans would have demanded Orton's head.

I think the coaches put Tebow in that bad position. There was nothing Tim could do because of the bad playcalling.

Hey, the offense was improving until the second drive in Buffalo. They've been slumping since then.

Our last two opponents had good cover corners. I don't think Pitt's are that good. Reason for hope.

Not STs and defense. We held KC to one TD.

What we need is to trade Tebow so Fox can bring in another QB to make look like crap like he has done his whole career..

Yeah, thats probably because we saw the same thing for 2+ seasons.

Perspective is cool, man.

I know that he's not mormon and you don't like non-Mormons and all, but you are beyond silly at this point.

So why was this number 1 rushing attack dead last when Orton was the qb...with the exact same olineman?

It's eerie how you constantly attach your own failings to others.

But, speaking of clowns, my favorite for today is where you reasoned that if Tebow can't pass, that must mean that passing is a liberal plot.

Priceless.

Because they weren't getting 50 yds rushing a game from the qb and we run the ball 3x as much with Tebow.

When did McaGhee take over and become the man running the ball? Right about the time they made the switch from Orton to Tebow.

Okay. I'm starting to get the big picture. Let's see, Tebow can't pass because the coaching sucks, passing is liberal, and everybody who likes passing is anti-Christian.
