Through 16 games? Tebow‘s passer rating was higher. Young was comparably rough around the edges. So much so that he was traded just to spend 4 years riding pine so his old team could fall back to a DeBerg fueled plan B.

Steve Young is the go to argument for any person who wants the underdeveloped back up QB to start. Because one example out of 200 is enough proof.

You're still not getting what I'm saying. Young knew how to drop back from center. The skill sets are still not the same even though young was rough around the edges. Being rough around the edges and having jagged spikes around the edges are 2 different things.

And you don't play if you're not good. Tebow had a chance this preseason to show any signs of positive so that the jets would even consider him a starting QB. He hasn't shown them anything for them to want to replace their current terrible QB.

As i have said countless times, going to the NY Jets was a horrible move for Tebow. Sporano sucks ass. Tebow was brought in to run gimmick plays and that's exactly what they are using him for.

Some people are holding hope he will pull a Gannon/Young. It's not going to happen in NY with their current regime in place.
