Default Where will you be watching the game on Sunday?

Where will you be watching the game on Sunday?

By tradition, around New Year's, my family and I spend several days with some friends who have a big house. All of us have lots of kids (we total 30 or more people), so we show up with sleeping bags, air mattresses, board games and what not & have a 3-day-long party beginning on the afternoon of the 31st.

Then we pull a couple of all-nighters and head home on January 2nd.

But this year will be different. Since the kids will all be playing X-Box 360 all day, I'm watching the game from a friend's house about a mile from the party while he's out of town on Sunday. So I'll be all by myself watching Denver take on KC...unless I can drag one of my boys away from "Call of Duty, Modern Warfare 3".

I've got my priorities straight!

Lucky you. Where are your seats?

My folks had 5th level seats in the West Stands for about a zillion years before they finally gave them up and decided to watch the games @ home on HDTV. Walking up 72 ramps to get to their seats was too much for their old bones.

What's your strategy for buying scalped tickets? Whenever I had a ticket to sell, I always looked for the fan all decked out in Broncos regalia who could answer the most trivia questions (like "What was Tom Jackson's number?"). Then I made him or her promise that they wouldn't turn around and resell the ticket.

I never sold any tickets for more than face value, btw.

This weekend is going to be ridiculous. I'll be up all hours of the night Saturday, obviously, then I'm going to both the Broncos and Nuggets games tomorrow. At least I have Monday off.

At home...watching it on my 65" LED TV from my recliner with my laptop close by!

Most likely with a bottle of Raymond Cabrenet.

Of course, if I was fortunate enough to be at the game "Live" it would be beer for sure!!! :-)

Go Broncos!!!

More or less that. I'm walking distance from the Stadium so I usually head down at about 1:00 and just stick a finger in the air when I'm near the stadium. I refuse to deal with scalpers (I'd rather watch it at home then pay them off). I've never paid more than face for a ticket and have always ended up in the lower deck. The Chicago game was the first game I've paid face value for a ticket in like 3 seasons....

I usually go by myself, so it's easy to get a ticket. There is always someone who's buddy couldn't make it.

If I'm going with someone else I just pound Craiglist the morning of the game. Usually around 12:00 or so I'll find someone who suddenly can't make it and have two or three tickets to sell.
