You have to be a sick individual to perform those abortions.

i don't get the point to go to such an extent to perform those abortions.

going from one state to another state to perform abortions?
is money gained from an abortion that much that they risk jail time?
they are doctors after all, how much does it take to go from an abortion doctor to a family doctor or any other practice?

it almost seems that these two doctors have some other motive...
36 weeks?

Just money. They probably have someone line up several of them at a time if they're traveling.

Its hard to find information online about abortion cost because these people are like a cult protected by the government. But abortions get more expensive the later in the pregnancy they are done. The procedure itself might be 1000 dollars depending on how late it is (up-charging because they can due to guilt and immediacy...what nice people, eh?), and if they use general anaesthesia it will be considerably more.

The dadgum federal government subsidizes abortions with our tax dollars, too. Supposedly not late term abortions, but who knows.

I'm no OBGYN, but a fetus at around 25weeks has a 50-50 shot of surviving premature birth, though of those 50% will be disabled. If a doctor intentionally killed any patient with a 50-50 shot at life, they'd be charged with murder.

What makes this unique, as stated in the article, "Maryland is one of 38 states with a law that allows murder charges against someone accused of killing a viable fetus. The 2005 law has so far only been used for ... assaulting or killing pregnant women." If anyone performing an abortion can be charged with murder if the fetus is potentially viable (presumably outside the womb) that would put a cutoff point for abortions at around 18-21 weeks?

Abortion laws are hypocrtical and nonsensical all over the country, which is proof that our abortion laws are bad laws.

A person can get charged with murder for killing a child in utero at any stage in development if the mother claims she wanted the baby, but a person can kill the child if she claims that she doesn't want it?

It isn't just law. The child is ruled a child in one case and is ruled something else that is not a child in another circumstance...despite the fact that its the same thing (a growing child) in both circumstances.

Stupid law that needs to go to the supreme court to get straightened out.

"We believe it's inappropriate for her to be held without bond. She is not a flight risk and she should be released on her own recognizance."
So she can do it a few more times before the trial. Right.

One of Brigham's own abortioneers had this to say about him a few weeks back:

Quote:
Steve Brigham was operating a business off the inevitability of abortion. He had a record. He was criminal, a rule-breaker who spotted a need and families willing to pay him for his supposed expertise.

Send him to jail but please do not hunt down the good clinics and treat them in the woods where no one not having an abortion cares to hear.
This guy (and Riley who's referenced in other pro-abort blogs) is, by the abortion industry's own admission, everything that's wrong with this business (and it IS a business). No respect for human life + no respect for rule of law=jail term. Take 'em away, officer.

Quote:
The investigation began in August 2010 after what authorities say was a botched procedure at Brigham's clinic in Elkton, located near the border of Maryland and Delaware.

An 18-year-old woman who was 21 weeks pregnant suffered a ruptured uterus and an injured bowel, according to documents filed in a previous investigation by medical regulators. Rather than call 911, Riley drove her to a nearby hospital, where both she and Brigham were uncooperative and Brigham refused to give his name, documents show.
Quote:
A search of the clinic after the botched abortion revealed a freezer containing 35 late-term fetuses, including one believed to have been aborted at 36 weeks, the documents show
These are bad abortionists (redundantly redundant, i know), plain and simple.
