It used to be that all you ever saw during football games was beer commercials. What has happened in this world?

haha its not the cheapness of it that would bother me. Jewelry is supposed to be personal and thoughtful. Buying something you watched on TV that is mass produced? Seems pretty thoughtless to me. I'm sure you could buy jewelry of similar value that has more thought behind it.

I can't decide what's my favorite:

1) The Leo - where random men look at a ring, and breathlessly sigh, "Leo!" Like A) we all have an innate sense of good and bad diamonds; and B) we all just automatically respect one diamond dude so much, we simply appreciate his work. Or,

2) The open heart collection - Jane Seymour is apparently a designer. She came up with a great idea: a rightside-up heart over an upside-down heart. GENIUS! Her life now consists of designing jewelry with this brilliant design. All the other jewelry designers just stand around, waiting until Jane works her magic. They are incapable of drawing this complicated shape. So, she draws it - after which, she holds it ip to the light for the awe-inspired designers to gape at.

I think about these ads, and they make me angry. They make me angry like Tebow success makes Pontius (Butt) Pirate angry.

CBS promotional commercials annoy, as well. "Thank You for making us America's most watched Network..." If you lose the NFL again, that wont be true anymore, if it is in the first place.

I do not care about 60 minutes and Meryl Streep, or Anderson Cooper doing a story off the coast of cuba 60 feet under water. I dont care for Hawaii 5-0...where are they gonna go next? Save a jewish girl from Iran?...I have watched two broke chicks...its not funny.

Fail CBS.

All joking aside, I am not really a jewelry girl. My favorite pieces are as you say personal attachments and not actually worth a lot of money per se.

The commercials are craptacular. I was thinking that during some random commercial that in some ways Euro and English commercials are more creative and funnier. Some are crap of course.
