Default Stupid Ads During Games (was Jewelry Commercials)

They make me want to stick a rusty fork in my eyeball.

It used to be that all you ever saw during football games was beer commercials. What has happened in this world?

Sorry, I just really needed to get this off my chest.

I actually have brought this up to people before too. I think if youre a female, and your dude buys you an "open heart pendant" or whatever, you should break up with him.

Seriously.

haha its not the cheapness of it that would bother me. Jewelry is supposed to be personal and thoughtful. Buying something you watched on TV that is mass produced? Seems pretty thoughtless to me. I'm sure you could buy jewelry of similar value that has more thought behind it.

I can't decide what's my favorite:

1) The Leo - where random men look at a ring, and breathlessly sigh, "Leo!" Like A) we all have an innate sense of good and bad diamonds; and B) we all just automatically respect one diamond dude so much, we simply appreciate his work. Or,

2) The open heart collection - Jane Seymour is apparently a designer. She came up with a great idea: a rightside-up heart over an upside-down heart. GENIUS! Her life now consists of designing jewelry with this brilliant design. All the other jewelry designers just stand around, waiting until Jane works her magic. They are incapable of drawing this complicated shape. So, she draws it - after which, she holds it ip to the light for the awe-inspired designers to gape at.

I think about these ads, and they make me angry. They make me angry like Tebow success makes Pontius (Butt) Pirate angry.

CBS promotional commercials annoy, as well. "Thank You for making us America's most watched Network..." If you lose the NFL again, that wont be true anymore, if it is in the first place.

I do not care about 60 minutes and Meryl Streep, or Anderson Cooper doing a story off the coast of cuba 60 feet under water. I dont care for Hawaii 5-0...where are they gonna go next? Save a jewish girl from Iran?...I have watched two broke chicks...its not funny.

Fail CBS.

It's Christmas, jebus. Ya gonna take a slap at cologne next? Jewelers have to make money NOW. Kisses begin with KAY. Ya think they'll ignore the biggest marketing weeks of the year?

All joking aside, I am not really a jewelry girl. My favorite pieces are as you say personal attachments and not actually worth a lot of money per se.

The commercials are craptacular. I was thinking that during some random commercial that in some ways Euro and English commercials are more creative and funnier. Some are crap of course.

OH! She's going to LOVE that! You should take a shot at trying to chisel it into a piece from the open-heart collection!

That and they are at the game watching it. Or wait, they are at the game in a suite watching it on TV.

Right! Got it, "bro."

Don't worry. I won't put you on ignore. Adolf Hitler could post here, and I wouldn't put him on ignore. You're a douche; but you aren't as bad as Adolf Hitler.

The use of Bro. It either means you are either being a douche bag, gay and trying to hide it, or both.
