Default A positive

Demarius Thomas showed up today. I think he's going to be a very good #1 receiver in an option offense.

Edit - a bunch of shout-outs:

The Good:
Demarius Thomas
Von Miller
Elvis Dumervile
Rahim Moore

The Bad:
Zane Beadles
Andre Goodman
Linebacker coverage

The ugly:
Cosby

Ball is a wash. He showed up but fumbled.
Champ played decent, but below his level and doesn't belong on either list.
We were outcoached today. We were playing our game in the 1st, then the game got out of hand.

Yeah, Tebow is a one WR guy. Now he goes 90% of the time to Thomas..........and Decker has completely disapeared!

They do need a speedy compliment at WR. That role should be going to Royal, but he's done nothing in 3 years, so not holding my breath he is the answer.

I'd take him back as a return specialist.

I think he winds up in Washington next year.

They should be using Royal as the return specialist all the time as I have mentioned many times this year, but for some reason they seem to think they need Crosby.

Might just be that DT is the only receiver we have with elite physical tools that help him get open on a regular basis.

He pairs well with Tebow in that the others are timing-type WRs, and Tebow doesn't have the physical skills to throw a timing pattern yet.

The Broncos are running an offense that fits his skills... a run around the field "get open" offense kinda like the Steelers.

I was merely making a comment that this is why Thomas has come alive and the others have sort of dropped off.

Tebow can't run a similar offense to Brady, and vice versa.

I believe in Tebow. He's not Brady... yet.

I can only remember one completion on a timing route, and I think it was an out route to Thomas.

so you've never seen tebow throw a timing route? maybe he did and he got lucky?

for ****s sakes, physical skill has nothing to do with throwing a timing route.

There was another on ...maybe it was an in route to either Deck or Thomas...i think it was thomas...either way, ball was delivered before the receiver was out of his break and it was on target for a first.

You wouldn't consider throwing accuracy, release point, footwoork, and reflexes a physical skill?

And he's getting better at them. That's still where a lot of his incompletions are, wouldn't you agree?

of course it means something, but as this level you have to expect a certain amount of skill from your QB's.

Tebow was the most accurate QB in college football history so I expect the same when he developes more chemistry with his WR's and spends more time in this offense.

He seemed to be really snatching the ball with his hands in this game. He looked strong when he turned up field too. I think the kid is finally starting to get healthy. If he can develop into a consistent number one receiver, it would be huge.

By which measure? Percentage and td-int ratio? I agree.

But the windos are smaller in the pros. He'll get better, but his percentage is still pretty low.

All I'm saying - going back to the subject - is that DT fits his skillset for the time being.

Looked like the Pats were rolling safety help to Decker (of course limited viewing angles of CBS) leaving DT single covered most of the day - and he was eating them up.
