Yeah, yeah, yeah, more Tebow nonsense, but this is a pretty great article.

I don't understand why people are so impressed by this Klosterman article.. a bunch of horse**** if you ask me.
People buy into his nonsense for the same reason they bought into the Tebow anti-hype coming into the nfl... because the "smart people" were saying it... |

Any article not stating, clearly and unequivocally, "TEBOW IS NUMBER 1!!11!1!" is to be ignored and mocked. To hell with curiosity. The world is flat.

Note that it has been guys like MacGruder and Broncbow who reacted negatively to a thoughtful look at what makes Tebow a divisive figure. Short of Klosterman declaring it a matter of "dooshes being haterz," I don't think any write up on the topic had a chance to appeal to them.

this guy doesn't peel back the onion at all imo.. he just added another pretentious layer that didn't need to be there... tebow is a great player.. why can't people just accept that? because they don't understand how and claim others are the stupid ones not them.. now that is projecting....

Then trying to read it was like trying to listen to someone pile on a bunch of syllyables why really saying nothing at all. WHAT A POMPUS ASS. I love HOW his murderer metaphor had nothing to do with Tim at all. It reminded me of Billy Madison and the puppy metaphor. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3OEjN...layer_embedded "People once thought the earth was flat. 1 But here's a more complex scenario: If you were living in Greece during the sixth century, and there was no way to deduce what the true shape of the earth was, and there was no way to validate or contradict the preexisting, relatively universal belief that the world..." Actually all they had to do is got out to the horizon and notice how the line of sight was decreasing in height by the distance traveled. You could actually use that equation to not only tell the eart was round, but how big it was. Columbus knew this... College, highschool tebow proved he was not flat... what a stoopid doosh |

The last sentence really sums up the Tebow Thing and it has everything and very little to do with football.
"He is making people wonder if they should try to believe things they don't actually believe." |

He's good. He can throw it. This will all seem funny one day. But I suspect it will take years to work through the "Tebow learned to throw with his legendary work ethic!" He cold always throw -- the problem is his mechanics from the feet up to the arm are too slow for the NFL game, and he's had a learning curve to run NFL plays. Huge shocker. |
